4 generations together in one place for a week. It was a wonderful experience. Getting to watch sunrises and sunsets from the balcony. Watching dolphins leap out of the water. Saving the horseshoe crabs on the beach, looking for seaglass and shells. Beautiful property, fabulous location. Just steps to the beach. Can walk to downtown Lewes and and nearby canal. Nice park there for young ones. A great place to relax and reflect. Favorite restaurant - CAKE Bar - we had a birthday party there - wonderful food and desserts. Great crab cakes. Looking forward to coming back next year.

8 of us went away for the weekend to enjoy tennis & relaxation sans kids. The house is perfect for socialization; yet big enough to find a corner for privacy if you need to "call home". There is nothing missing in this fabulous home. It is clean and convenient. Though we didn't use the elevator for people - it was immensely helpful in getting our provisions to the 2nd & 3rd floors. Love the Dairy Queen 1/2 block away. We hope to be back next year. BIG FISH GRILL - great dinner - make reservations!

My family and I rented this house last week. We were very surprised at the size and cleanliness of the house. The location was terrific. We would definitely rent this house again. LOVED IT. We were able to sit on one of the many decks at night and watch the boats. Saw dolphins. The kids were so excited.

The house was wonderful, we had a great time. The weather was terrific and the view was great. One recommendation would be a regular toaster - the toaster oven was not as useful as a regular toaster. Otherwise, everything was great!

We absolutely loved the home. So many decks and space. We could all spread out and also be close. A great mix. Every sunset was exquisite from the deck and the beach. We loved the chance to at bonding with the family in such a lovely environment. We have been vacationing together for 15 years. This may be the last time we are able to do it - boo hoo! Beautiful house, beautifully decorated. Very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. A roll-away bed may be a good idea for that one child who does not like the top bunk. That room is spacious enough to accomodate one. We loved all the balconies!!!!

To us, handicap accessibility is a must have. We appreciate the efforts to accomodate us with ramps from the garage and to the deck. The elevator was the reason we first looked at the house. It all worked out wonderfully! The breeze and the view on the upper deck were great. The house is beautifully furnished. It felt more like home than a beach house. We will be back!

I must echo what everyone else has said - this is a beautiful home. Very comfortably decorated and so roomy! Top balcony was our favorite "chat room." Loved the BIG TV w/DVD/VCR. Perfect location - the bay is ideal for little ones! Hope we can convince Mom and Dad to bring us all here again (really hope they read this :-)). Minor suggestions - more towel hooks or towel bars needed in all bathrooms, storage containers or bowls for leftovers, hand mixer for kitchen, umbrella for balcony table. But, these are just suggestions, not necessities because the vacation was wonderful! [Owner: Will install towel bars at next opportunity. The kitchen ideas are great - we'll get those soon. We will definitely have an umbrella for next season.]

Doug - thanks for your prompt response to our small dilemma. You saved the day and we all were grateful. Suggest some additional lights in the "fooseball" area. The house is super - loved the views, enjoyed the ammenities, the decor is lovely (is your sister a professional decorator?).We were all impressed and quite comfortable. Many Thanks. [Owner: A power outage the night before damaged one of the AC's. Were able to get it up that evening. Will look closer at the lights suggestion. No, my sister-in-law is just a mom - with arguably good taste.]

The house is lovely with just about everything we needed, except groceries. Enjoyed being away from responsibilities of work and family for a whole week of doing whatever we wanted - whenever we wanted. Furniture and beds all very comfortable. big family reunion - cars from four different states:OH, PA, MD and VA. We cooked a lot at home cause we wanted to share family recipes together. Your home is just lovely. I don't think I have ever been to a cleaner home and it is decorated just beautiful. I felt so at home, it is going to be very hard to leave.

We loved the house!! But I would put TV's in every room. [Owner: We have TV's in two common rooms, and three of the five bedrooms. We consciously decided not to put TV's in what we expected would be primarily childrens's rooms.]

The home is lovely! One suggestion, or maybe two. Put more towel bars in the bathrooms. There are not enough places to hang wet towels and bathing suits. Maybe a washline in the garage. Put a sign by the garbage cans in garage to tell renters when to put the cans out - we missed the 2 days. Ooppss. We will definitely be back. [Owner: Great suggestions. Relaxed, took day trip to the outlets and also took day trip, by ferry, to Cape May. Spent lots of money! Played board games and cards. The guys enjoyed the big screen TV - football and race. Looking forward to our trip back next Sept! The house is beautiful. Thank you for sharing it.
