Nestled in the woods at the end of a private lane is the home of mulBerryLand Guest House, in Comox, BC on Vancouver Island. Our secluded oasis described by many as 'a little piece of heaven' is waiting for you.
You will find peace and tranquility in our completely self-contained suite. Our guest house is separate from the main house and has its own private entrance and private deck overlooking the beautifully landscaped yard. Inside, you will find a snack kitchen with a microwave, small fridge with freezer, coffee maker, toaster oven and sink. It is also equipped with high-speed Internet, phone, TV and DVD player with an extensive library of DVD movies to choose from.
Outside, there are three ponds inhabited by fish and frogs, a grand-dad swing and hammocks under the trees, meandering pathways, a lifesize outdoor chessboard, over 1000 square feet of deck to relax on, and if you need a little private time to think – make your way through the whimsical wrought iron gate into the Serenity Garden. While sitting on the large thinking rock, you’re bound to find the key to the meaning of life.
If you’re feeling well rested and want to explore further, the Gate to the Woods allows you to take a relaxing stroll beyond mulBerryLand onto many of the walking and mountain biking trails. After a long day of adventuring, in and out of mulBerryLand, you are welcome to relax in the hot tub located off the main deck.
We have taken great pride in designing our guest house as a cozy, comfortable retreat. A place where you can experience days of adventures, and nights of restful sleep.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2001
About the owner: I'm a Creative Professional - an artist who works in a variety of different mediums including acrylics, oils and clay. I am also working in Digital Design creating marketing material for clients including logos, websites etc. My husband Nico is a software and firmware engineer. His specialty right now is writing iPhone applications. We have 2 cats, Charlie & Linus, and no children and have been married for 20 years (we got married young!). Our hobbies include gardening, kayaking, playing the piano & guitar, wood working, biking and hiking. We love meeting new people and look forward to meeting YOU! :)
Why the Owner Chose Comox:
We built our house in 2000 and it was some years later that we decided to build an additional carriage house on the property to be used as an art gallery and work shop for all of our hobbies. We did all the work ourselves in the suite from painting to tiling and it was turning out so beautifully that our friends and neighbours suggested we turn it into a B&B! We thought that was a great idea, so we did. It was a B&B for the first 4 years of operation but transitioned to guest house to give us more freedom.
Naomi was raised in the Comox Valley and Nico is originally from Holland. We just love to call Comox home. The people are so friendly, there is a multitude of fun things to see and do, we couldn't imagine living anywhere else!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
mulBerryLand guest house is only a 2 minute drive to the airport - our guest house is on the quiet side so you won't hear much in the way of airplane noise!
We are about 5 minutes from town and from 3 different beaches.
We have 3 ponds on the property - 2 are connected with a river that we built. If you love to hear the sounds of frogs in spring you will love staying here. We also have SO many different types of birds that visit the property including hummingbirds that stay here all winter long!
We are very well connected in the Comox Valley and can recommend some fantastic restaurants for you to try. Our local farmer's market can't be beat! We have so many fantastic organic farms in the area, you will be eating so well when you stay here.
