HERON HOUSE is a luxurious, large, modern home on a walk-on beach. The home is situated on a sandbar/spit extending into Baynes Sound. Spectacular views of the ocean and mountains can be seen on all sides of the home.
Our home is a roomy, 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, open layout, providing excellent comfort for family or social gatherings. As our family uses Heron House on a regular basis, the home is fully equipped for up to 12 people.
Our 6 bedrooms are furnished with king, queen, double and single beds. Our bathrooms are either in-suite or adjacent to all the bedrooms.

I and 11 other members of my family spent 5 days at Heron House and I can't say enough about how wonderful the whole experience was!! The house exceeded our expectations, with views from every window. With the wrap-around deck it was possible to be in the sun or the shade at any time of the day, and the views from front and back were incredible!! The house was very roomy and perfect for the needs of my entire family. We're already talking about going back and spending at least a week next time.....my only complaint is that the trip was too short!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owners have an incredible attention to detail...fire was prepped and ready to go, toys, games, and wifi were available, all necessities supplied, clear instructions on use of property, etc. The house has a STUNNING view, was impeccably cleaned and PERFECT for our family gathering. Easily housed 4 couples and our small children. We would definitely come again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

we had a wonderful time, the house is beautiful,fabulous location, extremely well equipped & very very comfortable.. we' d only been there a couple of hours & were already talking about "next year".. Highly recommend the place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Recently spent three days at this location on a quilting retreat with five girlfriends. It was very clean, extremely well equipped, a lovely location and most suitable for our requirements. We plan to make this an annual event.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

A wonderful retreat! Deciding we needed a quilting retreat, myself and five friends spent four perfect days sewing, laughing and having a marvelous time in a house that had absolutely everything you could possibly want. Lots of room, comfy beds, modern appliances, very clean, and a view to die for! Highly recommended, we plan on booking again for our retreat next year, only this time we are going to make the stay longer!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway.
