The cottage is spacious, sunny, and thoroughly equipped. Lovingly renovated and restored, this modular home is now truly a breezy vacation cottage. Paintings and photographs by the artist/hosts decorate the walls. Each is an original of our lovely area. The living room has a cozy faux fireplace and opens to the dining and grill area of the deck. The dining room is spacious and overlooks the waterfall pond. The kitchen is well equipped and overlooks the pond as well. The full bath is stocked with plenty of towels for bathing and swimming. The master bedroom opens out to the hot tub and pool deck. The second bedroom is a studio with a very comfy futon. The small reading room has a love seat that opens into a twin-sized bed. Both the Florida room and living room sofas open into beds, too. And there is a nice laundry room. Just outside the back door is a wonderful outdoor shower, complete with hot and cold soft water, a sink for shaving, even a stained glass window!
The entire property is lushly planted and encircled by privacy fence. On the decks are big pots of flowers, foliage, and herbs for your cooking.
The neighborhood is a nice quiet circle with little traffic. It is right between Old St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach. There are prize-winning restaurants, a drug store, a fish market, a little food store, and a bank -- all within walking distance. The ocean and beach are one mile east, and St. Augustine is three and a half miles north across the Bridge of Lions.

From the minute I walked into Harmony Cottage I felt like I was home! The attention to detail is impeccable, and the pride of ownership really shows. It is spotless, quiet, and filled with the owner's beautiful art, which gives the place a very special feel. The hottub and pool are great for relaxing. It may look small from the outside but there are so many different sitting areas to get lost in, to read, meditate, or just relax. It was great for us "girlfriends" and I highly recommend it!!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.
