  I visited London with my sister and Uncle/Aunt for a week... we had an awesome experience because of this apartment. Walking in for the first time was so positive and I knew immediately it would work for us. It is located in an excellent neighborhood close in proximity to Tower Bridge, the tube/rail stations and surrounded by walk to restaurants and other amenities. The apartment is really well appointed, spacious and clean. There were nights when we walked to restaurants in the neighborhood....the Village East and Antico had excellent fare. One night we had dinner with some friends in the flat and it felt as though we were entertaining at our home...It was so cozy and we had everything we needed for dinner. Before we arrived, Mary sent us a three page document of various helpful information which told us where to go for shopping, restaurants, how to get places etc....we referred to it on a daily basis. We really enjoyed our visit and would without question, stay here again. It was a great experience, we loved the apartment and highly recommend this to others who want the feel of a home during their stay in London.

  My wife, 2 daughters (13 and 14) and I very much enjoyed living at this flat for over a week (we're only sorry it wasn't much longer). It's a comfortable place, and stocked with the essentials. All was in fine working order, with people who could assist close by in case something didn't work correctly). The neighborhood is safe and comfortable with small shops as well as restaurants and pubs. After being in busy London places during the day, it was nice to return to this quieter neighborhood, which also has an interesting history. Taxis are plentiful and the 10 minute walk to London Bridge Station (to catch overground and underground trains) is pleasant — even in the rain. Our entire family agrees that we would like to return when we get the opportunity.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  Four of us stayed in this spacious flat at the end of March for 12 days, it was exactly as advertised and very comfortable. Mary was very helpful from the start and was very prompt with her replies to my emails. The location of the flat is great with some really good restaurants within walking distance. The local Sainsbury is five minutes away and tube a 10 minute walk. My family and I would definitely stay in this flat again.

  The apartment was exactly as pictured. It was very spacious for our party of 5. The apartment is located in the Bermondsey district and is a short walk to the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. The owners recommended some fabulous local restaurants and local attractions. The tube is a 10 min. walk from the apartment and easy to use to get around the city. Loved the stay and will definitely return.

  We had the best vacation ever while staying at this Bermonsey flat. I couldn’t believe how conveniently located this flat is to everything you would ever want. There are restaurants, shops and galleries lining this street just outside your door. The area is near the famous Tower Bridge, The Borough Market food shops are stunning, The Tate Modern is a walk away and easy access to the tube will get you anywhere you want to go. The flat has everything you would need. The kitchen is brand new, the bedrooms are comfy, the bathrooms modern and there is even a washer/dryer for more convenience. A supermarket is just one block away. We enjoyed cooking our breakfast and a few dinners to ease our budget. After a hectic day visiting many neighborhoods in London, it was always a calming relief to return to Southwark and this flat. The agents were helpful if we had any concerns about the running of the flat. The place is so clean and brand new, there were no problems with anything. This flat is a lucky find for anyone searching for just the right spot.

  When we arrived, we were happy to notice that the flat was very clean. Lot of space and nice kitchen. Throughout the preparation of our journey, we had good and easy communications with the owner. On friday evening, we discovered a nice little market next to the flat in Bermondsey Square. We also discovered a restaurant in Bermondsey square (Del'Aziz) where we ate delicious tagine and couscous. In summary, the flat was nice, very very well situated, very near public transports.

  As first time visitors to Europe, the trip to London could seem overwhelming. However, our stay in London went flawlessly! Mary was so helpful with getting back to us, great directions and she even stocked the fridge for us when we got there. The apartment was clean, well prepared and fit all 6 of us without a problem. The flat was a quick 10 minute (if that) walk to the nearest tube station. We also really appreciated the neighborhood because it wasn't in the middle of all the tourist activities so it felt more as if we could just enjoy a London neighborhood with the locals. We had a great stay and loved the apartment. Highly recommended to any family, first time visitors or someone who wants a relaxed visit to London.
