  The property interior was great and location at the end of the road made it secluded and private. We have not stayed in a non-oceanfront property before and so this is quite a change for us. We missed just walking out to the beach and it was a bit of a drive every time (not really a walking distance - especially for me). It was nice watching the golfers and the birds out on the golf course although one evening when we just sat down for dinner out on the porch, the someone started mowing the grass behind the property and it was really loud and the sound of rocks crunching was very intolerable - (so much for a nice quiet dinner). Botany Bay was a great place to explore and Charleston is a short drive away. Also, Flowers Seafoood offers a great take out Low Country Boil, it was delicious, and the fish market just outside the front gate was also great!

  Salt & Light was the perfect place for our Spring 2013 get away. Craig & Candace were easy to work with - extremely helpful and friendly. There was even a personal, hand written "welcome note" on the table when we arrived. The description of the condo was very accurate as were the photos listed. In fact, Salt & Light was superior (cleanliness, well-stocked, comfort) to other places we've stayed at Edisto. Since our son and his wife live in Charleston, we visit the area about 4 times per year, and we stay at Edisto on most occasions. The location in the Wyndham complex was perfect for us, and we enjoyed several of the onsite activities - biking, putt putt golf, beach hiking and gator huntin' (we spotted several gators in the ponds around the complex. But, mostly, it was a great place to relax and enjoy our time together as a family. We definitely plan to return to Salt & Light as soon as possible. Stan & Tricia

  "Salt and Light" was the perfect place for us to stay on our first visit to Edisto Beach. Comfortable, clean, all that you need. The owners made it absolutely easy for us. We did fall in love and can't wait to return.

  Beautifully decorated and appointed condo, surrounded by golf course, was thoroughly enjoyed. Expansive Edisto Beach was nearby. Charleston only an hour away!

  We loved our mini getaway to Salt & Light. Condo was as described, a spacious, two-bedroom, 2- bath with additional sleeping on a pull-out couch in the family room. We really enjoyed the screened-in porch overlooking the golf course, and ate all our meals out there, accompanied by a pleasant breeze. Beach access was a short drive or bike ride away; you can rent bikes at the resort as there are none included with the rental. Beach was lovely, unspoiled, no high rises... Edisto is very quiet and the bustle of downtown Charleston is about an hour drive away. Overall, a very nice experience for a relaxing beach getaway with pretty good access to the city if you want to see Charleston as well.

  We have rented several times at Edisto over the past four years and while we love spending time in Edisto, we had been dissatisfied with our rental experiences thus far. It was a very welcoming change to bypass the typical check-in center process, and upon arrival, to find a nice, clean, well maintained and equipped unit that did not require any follow up phone calls to get what I would consider basic expectations met. Sitting on the swing under the house and enjoying the breeze was an added bonus!

  What a wonderful vacation!!! We needed Edislow!! Had a great time and loved the condo, thank you for letting us use it. The pools and ocean were great, the best way to see it all is on a bike! This was our second trip to Edisto, and when we got home my wife was already talking about next summer's trip back.Be sure and eat at Mconkey's and The Sea Cow! Looking forward to next year! The Lord used your condo to bless my family. Thanks.

  We loved our stay at this condo. The place was very clean and it was only a short ride to the beach. The owners have added a lot of extras to make the place feel like home. The decor is beautiful. We enjoyed watching some baby raccoons play in nearby trees outside the condo. This was a great place for a small family or romantic getaway. We will definitely stay here again when we go to Edisto and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Edisto.

  We had a wonderful time at Edisto and after many years of renting houses we enjoyed Salt and Light at Club Cottage. The comfortable environment and pleasant decor made for a great week. It is very clean and neat. We rode our bikes to beach access 22. Later we tried beach access 30 and loved the ocean/sound mix with great beach. The breeze while sitting in the swing below the house is great. We did see a fawn and doe one morning!

  The condo was more than we expected. It was very clean and had everything in the kitchen that we needed for the week. The decor was inviting and made us all feel right at home. The owners were easy to communicate with and quickly answered our questions prior to rental and during. We would rent this condo again and recommend it to friends.
