We loved our stay here. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The Creek was beautiful! I just love this property, it really gets you back to nature without being too far off from civilization. everything needed was provided, and i over packed for the kitchen cause they had everything already available, even the muffin pan! The hot tub was WONDERFUL! big enough for all of us to enjoy together. We played the board games, enjoyed smores at the fire pit and had a nice steak dinner at the pic nick table outside. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cabin in the woods, you won't be disappointed. And such a Great Value - We will be back! thank you so muchRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This property is extremely beautiful, and exceptionally maintained. It has all the comforts of home and more. It was hard to decide between the fire pit or the hot tub after a long day of adventuring. We truly recomend visiting the chamber of comerce in Andrews. They were very helpful in leading us in good directions. We will be recomending this property to all our friends and family. Enjoy!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We recently spent 3 nights in this cabin with our 3 children. The cabin was clean and welcoming, but the view from the porch was the best part. Our toddler son spent hours throwing rocks in the creek, our girls loved the creek and the hot tub and we all enjoyed the nearby trails with incredible views at the top. So many great places to explore close by (Nantahala, Bryson City, Murphy) but the landscape by the cabin was our favorite spot.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

During our stay, no matter where we went to sightsee, the cabin and its grounds proved to be the most majestic spot of all. We were cordially met at the time of arrival by the caretakers of the property. They made us feel comfortable about the cabin, and gave us detail about the nearest towns and where we could find what. The cabin itself was cozy and the high ceilings helped make the smaller bedrooms feel spacious. Being by the creek was fantastic (and therapeutic!). The hot tub was a big hit with my family and we spent more time in there than I would have guessed :) The small city of Andrews is so close--not a tourist town as mentioned in other reviews, but there is a grocery store that we found sufficient. Plus, Murphy is a short ride west with more franchise retail if that's needed. We could see the cabin across the creek, and the folks there, but the creek drowns out noise and helps separate the properties and still help you feel somewhat secluded. There were many bare trees between the properties, so, when the trees have leaves, you won't be able to see any other properties from the grounds of this cabin. Only scary part was when the dogs from the residential property at the beginning of the area chased our car, and we were worried about running them over. But the slower we went, the more encouraged they were. My advice is to just go faster if you see them coming ;) We are very much looking forward to staying again in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We have visited this general area (western NC) for the past three years and this is our third cabin rental. This cabin was very clean and well kept. The local managers/caretakers of the cabin were very nice and helpful. The scenery was nice and the hiking trails nearby were a nice bonus that we were originally unaware of when we booked the cabin. We would stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family and I absolutely loved this cabin. The setting is just wonderful. The creek in the back was so relaxing to listen to while soaking in the hot tub. It was clean and it was nice because they had everything you would need to live there for a week or so, pots and pans, dishes, etc. The caretakers were very friendly and informative and even came to check on us one morning, which we thought was very nice. We plan on staying here again in the future!Recommended for: Families with young children.

We had an outstanding time at the cabin! It sits very well on the property and the running creek just adds to the serenity. The rocking chairs on the porch really allowed us to enjoy listening to creek and the weather was outstanding while we were there. The comfort of everything was excellent and we had everything we needed. The hiking trails really wore us out (well, I should actually just say me since my wife is an extremely fit person) but were very good for us at the same time. We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful meal at The Copper Door restaurant in Hayesville (highly recommend it even though it is a 30-45 minute drive from the cabin). This experience was exactly what was represented and what we were looking for. Marvadene and Buddy were great hosts/greeters. We will definitely do our best to return in the future and bring the kids too so they can enjoy running around and playing in the creek! Thanks so much for a wonderful (and unfortunately too short) stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed for a couple of nights while in Andrews NC and just loved it! The winding road up to the cabin was just an idea of how far off the beaten path we would be. Everything we could ask for and more was to be found inside and outside! We took advantage of the creek right outside to the fire pit as well! A beautiful little town and pleny of things to do or just come and enjoy the peace and nature around you. Our only regret was having to leave!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
