Enjoy a relaxing vacation in the quiet surroundings of Ocean Dunes. Our two bedroom, two bath condo is just across the street from easy private access to the beach. Our second floor unit is immaculate and has covered parking for two cars.
Ocean Dunes condominium complex is well maintained and offers plenty to do. Enjoy the indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and fitness center located in the recreation building. An outdoor pool, the Rec Building, tennis and basketball courts, playground, and shuffle board are located on the same side of the street as our condo. In fact, they are just steps away.
The condo has all the appliances you need to feel at home. There is a washer and dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, and microwave. There is cable TV and a VCR/DVD player in the living area and cable TV and a DVD player in the master bedroom.
Activities surrounding the Ocean Dunes complex include the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the Kure Beach Fishing Pier, the Tregembo Zoo, and the Fort Fisher Museum. The former military base at Fort Fisher offers a beautiful view of the sunset over the Intracoastal Waterway. Surf fishing is quite popular as well. The surrounding city offers great shopping, great dining, charter boat fishing and golf. There is something for everyone.
We love spending time in our condo at Ocean Dunes. We know you will too.
We have been renting our unit through VRBO since 2004.

Having stayed at numerous beach condos, this is definitely our new favorite! The condo was clean and comfortable with board games for the kids to play and ample space to stretch out and relax. The kitchen had everything needed to "eat in." The distance to the beach and pool amenities was perfect for our kids. Having access to the recreation center with the indoor pool added a fun, new dimension to our beach experience. Between its quiet location and the amenities, this condo fit all of our needs and we could not have been more pleased with our vacation!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

What a great piece of the country! Kure beach was the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. We could avoid the built up tourist traps of other beaches here and relax in a great condo with pools and walking distance toboth the beach and fort fisher. We took the ferry to Southport and loved it too. We cant wait to come back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our second year in this condo and we had a great time. It is very quiet and relaxing. Beach just 2 min away and we had the pool mostly to ourselves during the whole stay. Looking forward to next year already!Recommended for: Families with young children, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+.

This condo was perfect. Very clean, comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything you needed. Easy beach access and pool just few steps away. Will stay again and highly recommend.Recommended for: Age 55+.

This is a lovely condo that is quiet and relaxing. It is very clean and we are going to come back next year. The beach is just across the street but you can still hear the ocean from the deck. The owners were extremely nice and were prompt in answering my questions. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone. We had a wonderful time here! The condo was very clean and nice....it also had everything we needed for cooking. The beach was easily accessible across the street. Highly recommend taking bicycles....we had a great time riding them to the pier (they have a bike lane). This was our first time to Kure Beach and I have already told everyone I know how wonderful it was there and what an awesome deal the condo was! We will most definitely go back for years!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

my family and I love this condo. unbelievably clean. comfortable bed, nice kitchen. located right at the pool. easy, easy short walk to beach and fort fisher. elevator available very close by. quiet, relaxing neighborhood. couldnt ask for anything better. feels like home away from home.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+.
