  Thanks Monty, we had a wonderful time in San Francisco in part due to your apartment! It was perfect for my family of 5 and very comfortable! It was a huge benefit being so close to the park, we had a great time being able to walk right in. Parking was not very difficult, easier during the day :) Clement Street was an easy walk for restaurants and pubs, great Chinese for dinner, and the nearby market provided all the staples we needed to have breakfast in and make lunches if we so desired :) The nearby bus routes were close and easy to get to where ever we wanted to go. The location was close enough to city attractions and at the same time far enough away. We slept well! Clean, well maintained, stairs to walk up and down. (Pack your suitcase lighter, thinking back I should have packed 2 one for my husband and one for me instead of our usual great big one :) Plenty of pillows & comfy bedding. The iron was appreciated and it was nice to brew coffee in Am and not have to run out to get it. I can't think of anything this apartment lacked, hope we have a chance to come back and stay again! Recommend: Walk across Golden Gate Bridge then catch city bus to Sausalito (runs hourly from other side of bridge) Have lunch and take ferry back to Pier 39 or Ferry Building. Scoma's for excellent seafood (our more pricey meal but well worth it!) I had the Cioppino ($39) and it was fantastic. Two of the kids had really good fish-n- chips. Stroll around Golden Gate Park, pack a lunch and make it a picnic, the Japanese Tea Gardens were worth the admission. I did not go but our oldest daughter (17) loved the Academy of Sciences, spent the day on her own exploring. The lake looked like fun, with the row boats, but we did not have enough time to explore it :( Our 14yo loved the shopping at Union Square (so did I) amazing mall and stores galore! Our 7yo enjoyed riding the 5+ story curving escalator in the mall and the food court with all it's goodies! Parking was difficult there I would recommend taking the bus there instead. Did not have time to go to the Ferry Building but I hear it's a great place to stop and I really wanted to go to the secret slides on Seward Street but the timing did not work out. Skip- Ghiardelli Square unless you really need a sundae, Pier 39- REALLY crowded, went on Sunday it may be better on a week day if you want to check it out. Mostly eateries and souvenir shops that you can find most other places. Thanks!

  Very comfortable place to stay in pleasant location. Good value. Convenient to grocery store, coffee shop, laundromat, and Golden Gate Park (de Young and Japanese Tea Garden). Hope to stay here again.

  This rental was located within walking distance of public transportation, a excellent grocery store, and great cafe. The rental was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The unit is on the 3rd floor so you need to walk up two sets of stairs. Well priced.

  My wife and I lived in this apartment temporarily when our apartment nearby was being worked on. The neighborhood is great, quiet at night, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, as well as a supermarket on the next block. The apartment is nicely furnished with just about anything you would need! It's also easy to get to other parts of the city via bus lines from this location.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

  Very clean, well equipped, most comfortable beds ever slept in. Good location on variety of bus routes, supermarket (closes 8pm) & laundrettes few doors away, but quiet neighbourhood.

  The apartment is clean and comfortable and very close to a great market, coffee shop and bus stop. Perfect "hub" for us to see the great sites of San Fran. The owner is very responsive to our calls and we received our security deposit refund so quickly. Parking was a challenge but we found that to be the case absolutely everywhere in the city!

  The place was fine. The apartment was clean. The internet worked, and the keys were all in the expected spots. The neighborhood felt a little far from the heart of SF, but that's what we paid for.

  We enjoyed our stay at this location. It is conveniently located along many bus routes, .5 miles walking distance to USF and surrounded by great restaurants. We walked just about everywhere. The pictures definitely did not do it justice, much roomier than I had imagined. We had everything we needed and Monte, the owner, is readily available to answer questions. My only complaint would be the street facing bedroom was loud at times during the evening but I managed to sleep OK. We ate at Bisou for Sunday brunch down in the Castro district, really good food, though if you are not a fan of the gay/lesbian scene this is not the area for you. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Skool downtown SOMA amazing blend of Asian, seafood and fabulous ambiance. When you arrive in that part of town you can't imagine you will find a restaurant of that caliber. The Bay to Breakers race was the same weekend and quite the entertainment. I didn't see one serious racer but everyone was having fun. I would definitely rent this unit again. Thank you Monte.

  excellent location for us. safe and clean. Beds and linens great, good bath facilities, wifi access, cable tv, well stocked kitchen - all very functional. Living area was not comfortable or attractive but we were not there to sit in the apartment. Also appreciated the use of the garage and having the grocery and cafe on the block. We could tell it was newly completed, and is well done for the most part. Could use some art work on the walls and more comfortable seating in the living area. The owner was reliable and efficient.
