Grandma's Sandbox is a open floor plan with lots of windows and light, spacious, well decorated, and located on a quiet street, a short walk to the beach! There is a screen porch, porch swing, ample off street parking for 4 cars. Two master bedrooms, one on the main level, walk in closets and queen beds in 3 bedrooms, one bedroom has twin beds, dual zoned hvac. Bath one is for the master on the main lvl, master 2 upstairs has it's own bath, and the other 2 bedrooms have a jack and jill bath. Each bedroom has a tv and dvd player, some have vhs players too....there are over 100 movies for our guest's use. Electronic locking system so you have a code, no key to pick up, beds are made and ready for use. Bring your own beach towels. There is a local maintenance and cleaning company that will handle any immediate needs of my visitors. This home sleeps only 8 and has no sleep sofas or extra beds. Kitchen has dishes, glasses, pots, silverware, toaster, coffee pot, waffle iron, dish towels, pot holders, all that is needed for your kitchen use. Iron and ironing board in master closet. Full size washer and dryer. Port-a-crib and high chair and some toys and games.
We have a very private, screened in porch on the side of the home, just off the kitchen, that you will live on in nice weather! A wonderful long, full, front porch with rockers and chairs.
We have a library of dvds and books and cable tv.
Tenants must be over 25 years old and will be ID'd at check in.

About the owner: I am a full time Real Estate Broker, and a farm owner with over 140 acres close to Washington, D.C.. I grow blueberries, mushrooms, and potatoes. I also have a builder's license, and a degree in International business. Loving motorcycles, beaches, and the sun....I found a piece of heaven in Surfside.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
Surfside is quiet, family orientated, safe, clean, manicured, the water is warm and clear here, I wanted parking for family and this holds 4 cars. I told my Realtor, only Surfside, ceramic floors in great room, single family home, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, walking distance to the beach! I love it, bought it without ever seeing it (except for pictures) and it ended up being better than I expected!
My grandchildren have several parks to walk to, a public library walking distance with 25 computers for public use, tennis a block away, and lots of bars and eateries walking distance (no designated driver needed).
I am particular about manicured lawns, safe streets for walking at night, safe neighborhoods, pristine beaches, and this town has all of that to offer.

Walk to beach, library, playgrounds, happy hour, food places.....everything is so close. The grandkids love the water parks and minature golf courses. Discount malls, flea markets, quilters cottage, thrift stores, 3 D movie theaters, Myrtle Beach has it all! Surfside has a pristine beach, it is cleaned everyday.
