  We had an amazing stay at this beach house, plenty of room for our family and friends, never felt cramped. The location was great! Just a few steps away from the harbor and two blocks from the beach. The beach was beautiful, very private and clean. We walked and ran the board walk every morning. Just a mile north and less than a mile south were restaurants, bike rentals, Ruby's Diner, fun beach shops and a playground for the kids. Newport really caterers to families, couples, young adults and kids of all ages. We especially enjoyed the amenities the house had to offer, two electric scooters which were a hit with the older kids, bikes and the beach chairs. The manager, Michelle was great to work with and very accommodating. The only thing we were disappointed with was the lack of wifi. We are all self employed so it was difficult to do any business while at the house, on the upside of that, there was a library less than two blocks away that we used quite often. I would highly recommend this beach house!

  I have stayed in this area for many years but this was the first time staying in this house. It is a great location and accommodated our group perfectly. My brother lives nearby and this year we got together for meals at our house instead of imposing on my poor sister-in-law because our set up was ideal. When we are all together there is a big group and everyone had a place to sit, visit and eat without seeming like a huge crowd. The dining room table was huge and accommodated about 8 or 10 without adding the leaf. The three decks were ideal for the younger crowd to sit on and eat. All in all a great 10 days at the beach. Kids and young adults had lots of local activities for those overcast mornings before the sun came out.

  We stayed for four days and enjoyed every minute of it. The location was perfect and the house had everything you could need. It was large enough so we all had space and didn't feel on top of each other between 3 adults and 6 kids. The beach was a short walk away as well as the fun zone. The only drawback may have been the 10 pm noise curfew, but it was understandable. We so enjoyed our stay and want to return soon. Michelle was lovely to deal with and made the arrangements very easy. We highly recommend this rental.

  My husband & I rented this beach house for 10 days over the 4th of July holiday. We have 4 kids (ages 16, 10 & 4yr old twins) & my parents who accompanied us. This house is perfect for the 4th! The patio on the 3rd floor is a front row seat for the fireworks at the bay! If we turned the opposite direction we could also fireworks from the pier. In the distance fireworks from Disneyland could also be seen. Balboa Penninsula neighborhood offers a 4th of July parade for kids & dogs that strolls through the neighborhood. Our 3 youngest decorated bikes & scooters and they had a great time participating. The house was clean and the outside was well maintained. The garage was nice to have due to limited parking on the street. It also offers an extra fridge as well as beach toys, chairs, umbrellas & a tent for the beach. The owners have the house well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen appliances, etc. Plenty of seating & sleeping accomodations was greatly appreciated since we have a large group. I recommend staying at this house for your next vacation. Two streets from the beach & 10 houses from the bay was convenient!

  The rental was a very clean and cute property. The house looked exactly like the picture and was well maintained and reflected how it looked in the pictures. It had all the amenities you may need to use and was located close to the beach and other attractions. The owner was very great in answering any questions I had and the neighbor we picked up the keys from was very helpful and sweet. My girlfriends and I had a wonderful weekend in this property and would definitely stay here again.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.
