The Sierra House is simply amazing, we’ve been coming to Copper for over 15 years and I can honestly say that it is the best rental that we’ve ever had. We had 10 in our party, from age 6 – 67 spread out among 4 families. We were there for 5 days and never felt that we were on top of each other. In fact could’ve easily had 10 more in our group and would still have had plenty of room. The ski in/out feature was truly that… no walking at all….ski down to the lift and stop off at the house on the way down. We booked this house long before it was even finished (no pictures even) based on the quality of the other homes that were built by the same builder. It surpassed our expectations. The furniture, the views, all the many amenities, the wonderful kitchen that was stocked with every pot/pan/dish etc. that anyone would ever need…everything was perfect. And as a last comment, you’ll love working with Tracy… you can be confident that your needs will be met if anything should arise. We will be going back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Let me say that my family takes a lot of SWEET VACATIONS...and this house and location made it EXTRA SWEET. A true luxury home that really is ski in ski out...I've seen a lot of "allegedly" ski in/out homes that require walking across a road, hiking a bit up or down, etc....This house is ON THE TRAIL; perfect for the adults in our group, and just as easy for all our kids (ages 5 to 10). I could go on and on, but trust me, the house is total luxury, the location is ideal, and the folks who rent the house provide 5 star service and support. Its worth every penny, and more.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We just returned from a wonderful girls weekend at this lovely home. When we arrived late on a snowy night we were greeted with a heated driveway & heated garage which made unloading much easier! We have traveled extensively & I have to honestly say this is the nicest home we have ever rented!! The photos do NOT do it justice. It is very clean, comfy & cozy & I would Highly reccommend it! The kitchen is well appointed & having 2 dishwashers was convenient & the huge refrigerator/freezer held everything we brought. I loved the heated slate/hardwood floors. I slept in one of the Queen bunk beds which I was hesitant to do but because they are built ins - they are roomy & I did not feel the normal bunk bed claustrophia - each bed having it own flat panel tv was convenient. We enjoyed playing pool & ping pong & the seats in the theater are very comfortable. The star gazing while in the hot tub was fun. Getting ready to ski in the ski room & walking right out to the heated patio to the slopes made it very easy. It was fun to watch the skiiers from the family room & the mountain views are amazing. We will definately come back to this wonderful home! Thanks for a fantastic weekend.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

About the owner: Marilea Trebac and Monica McKune (sisters) wanted a place where both of our families can get together and have fun. We have been coming to Colorado all of our lives and wanted to continue the tradition with our children. We love skiing at Copper because there is a natural separation of skier abilities. Marilea lives in the Chicago area with her family which includes her husband Jamie, 3 children and a dog . Monica lives in the Denver area with her family including her husband Mike, 2 children and 2 dogs.
