  We really liked the ground floor unit. I think it was fairly clean and had most everything we needed while there. I missed the ice maker this time and the vertical blinds need some attention, but over all we had a very good experience and a good time .<br/> Thank you, Betty VanHorn

  The condo is close to the beach and was clean and comfortable. There was only 2 chairs for the balcony and no table. I would of liked to have my morning coffee outside but I managed to still have a great time.

  We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of this unit. The carpet and furniture were stained, the stove top was greasy and floors did not appear to have been mopped. The shower doors had an accumulation of soap scum and the bathroom cabinet was dirty. While there was plenty of laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent and hand soap, there was no bath soap.

  room was NOT cleaned call the housekeeping # that was in the condo told a sob story about them being ss busy because of the spring breakers the week before...dryer made so much noise you could not have it on because you could not even hear the TV the sliding glass door in the living room did not even open all the way beds were not made toothpaste still in the sink dirty towels and sheets all over the floor sand on the floor toliet was dirty!!! I will get my 125.00 back for housekeeping or so the office where I picked up the keys from said. Magnets off my car stolen something thrown all over my car (which I have to get off yet) i have taken pleanty of pictures if you need to see them kids outside screaming and yelling at midnight all over my patio

  Your review does not ask enough questions. While we enjoyed our trip this place could use a little TLC. Here are a few things:<br/>1 We had to call maintenance to report the dryer. It worked but was so loud you could not carry on a conversation in the kitchen, eating area or living room. I can't believe no one before us reported this. <br/>2. Also, if you plan on staying there for a week you will need to take a few things from home if you have kids and plan to use the kitchen. There is no container to make juice or kool-aid. The one non-stick skillet is so bent that it only has one hot spot in it while cooking. There is no cutting board that is easy to clean, there is one built into the counter. Grab a one dollar pearing knife if you need to cut up fresh fruits and veggies.<br/>3. Don't plan on sweeping the carpet while there either, the sweeper's beater bar does not work. <br/>4. Parking... well, if you return anytime after 4pm don't expect to park near your unit and unload. You have to park down by the road.<br/>5. carpet - The carpet in the living room needs to be cleaned as does the couch. The master carpet needs to be stretched. <br/>6. The sliding door in the living roon is nearly impossible to open.<br/><br/>Overall, property is nice, the folks we chatted with around the pool are very nice. Lots of winter birds staying. They suggested a few local places to eat and visit. We would return to this particular unit if we knew some of the things had been taken care of. However, I am not sure I would recommend for my parents due to the wavey carpet, sliding door and parkikng due to their physical limitations.<br/>

  located almost on the beach! The property is not brand new, however, well maintained. I wish the linens were not washed with a strongly scented detergent, we had to rewash everything when we arrived. I'd dust things more thoroughly too. There is only one pool, which was quite cold (I am not sure if it is heated), and quite crowded. In general, I was a bit disappointed, as we had a different apartment than the one we chose on . The property is slightly more expensive than others in the area, however you do get a contract and I liked the option of trip insurance. Overall, we did have a good stay.

  It took a little convincing for my husband to agree to leave our CT grandchildren for such a long time, but from the time we checked in to check out time, we had no regrets. The rental property was very comfortable with many small touches that made it a home away from home - from nice decorative items, to fluffy towels, Egyptian sheets, large TV, WiFi connection and even a "library" of sorts. The location was excellent and the property management quick to respond to any issues, ie internet problems. Other Four Winds residents were friendly and open. All in all, a wonderful place to retreat to.

  We enjoyed our stay at Four Winds. The condo was well furnished, clean and easy to get to. The bathrooms were small, but worked fine. My only negative comment was the smell of fabric softener on all the linens was so strong it gave us headaches. We enjoyed being so close to the ocean. Would stay there again, as long as the smell was removed ahead of time. It was REALLY strong.

  Other than it being unusually cold we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had trouble with our Wi Fi connection when we first arrived, but the property manager worked closely with us to get it solved. She was great!! Although we were very near the beach you could not see the water from our condo, not that it was advertised that you could, it just would have made it perfect if you could. The condo was very nice and spacious. Very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful week.

  The only draw back I felt was the choice offered if we had to cancel.(travel insurance opt.) In our case I wished I would have gotten the insurance because this was booked for my brother & his new wife coming from California as a wedding gift and they were in route driving here to Florida and was involved in a car accident. Yes, they are okay but now couldn't travel. They are now going to fly here in Sept. 20th - 29th but to little to late the saying goes. So I wished we could have had the chance to change the dates. It would have been such a lovely way to show them St. Augustine.

  The pools should not be heated in the summer. It was too hot to get in them.
