"SANDYCOVE COTTAGE" A beautifully decorated fourth row cottage with four bedrooms, three baths, a very short walk to the magnificent Hilton Head beach. No busy streets to cross. Out the door, past 4 houses, and your sitting on the beach relaxing.
Decorated to a high standard with hardwood floors throughout the first floor living area, featuring an open floor plan.
The master bedroom and the second bedroom on the first floor include king-size beds and the master suite has a large bath with walk-in shower and large soaking tub. The two bedrooms upstairs have a queen bed in one and two twins in the other, separated by a den/reading room, which is open to the main living area. A queen sofa bed and game table are provided in this area. The upstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom on the same floor. We provide 2 hairdryers.
The house is located a short bike ride from the Coligny Plaza shops, less than 1 mile, and is close to many of the Island's fine restaurants.
Hot tub heated at no extra cost. We provide a few beach chairs, and a beach umbrella for your use.
We have high speed wireless internet service.

Mick & Terri McDonough. I grew up in the S.C. and Mick grew up in South Florida. We both love the beach and ocean. After spending a Summer here during college break, I knew Hilton Head was a special place. When we decided to buy a vacation home,,there was no other place even considered. 5 years ago we decided to make the big move,,and now live here permanently. Come see our little bit of paradise!

The lowcountry has a charm of its own. Unique in its beauty of a protected enviroment , with lush tropical live oaks, palmetto, palm and pine trees all the way to the ocean front.The beaches are absolutely beautiful. Hard packed and great for walking, biking, kiting and shell searching. Great golf courses and tennis courts. Many wonderful restaurants and shopping.

Both families have been visiting Hilton Head for a number of years. Your home was by far the best we’ve stayed in during our vacations to HH. The layout of the house was perfect for the two families. All together, there were three boys (ages 7 and 9), as well as one girl (age 10). They loved staying in the room with the twin beds and she was so happy to have a room to herself. The bedrooms on the first floor worked great for the adults too. Finally, the location was incredible. We hope to visit HH and rent from you next year too.

We have had family reunions at this beautiful cottage for several years. We keep coming back and have never been disappointed. The house is fantastic, the pool is relaxing and the short walk to the beach is perfect. Terri and Mick are the wonderful people who can provide you the best vacation ever!! Come for a week and you will return over and over and over!!

We had a wonderful week at "Sandycove Cottage." The house was home from the minute we walked in the front door. Comfortable, relaxing and all amenities that are needed were supplied and more. We found sitting on the front porch, rocking in the chairs and admiring the beautiful landscaping and the magnificent pool and spa an oasis unlike any other on HHI. The beach and ocean was a short stroll down the lane. Our family has been vacationing on HHI for many years and we all agree that this home was the nicest of all. I would highly recommend "Sandycove Cottage" to anyone who wants to stay in a wonderful beach home.

I can't say enough good things about this property! We have been going to HHI for several years now. The past 2 years we have stayed at this property. We have 4 children from 8months to 11yrs old. The distance to the beach is perfect!! YOu are so close you can stand at the beach walk and watch your child run back to the house if they need to. The pool out front is great for a swim after a long day at the beach. This house has always had everything we have needed for the kitchen and the beach!! We have always found the house to be VERY clean! The front porch is perfect for shade and relaxing while the kids take a dip in the pool The house has plenty of room. We have had 4 adults and kids and never felt the least bit cramped. The upstairs is a perfect kid retreat. The owners have ALWAYS been extremely helpful if we had a question or needed anything! We HIGHLY recommend this property. We love it and plan on returning next year!

We have been traveling to HHI for about 12 years and have stayed in MANY homes in the North Forest Beach area. BY FAR...this was the best house yet. Fully functioning kitchen with all of the amenities of home. 2 Huge Master bedrooms and 2 very good size "kids" rooms upstairs as well as a common area on the second floor with an additional day bed. Beautiful pool...great hot tub and a very short walk to the beach. They even provided beach toys, chairs AND A COOLER ON WHEELS!! What could be better???!!! We will definitely stay at Mick and Terri's again. Nice that they lived a few streets away...she checked in our second day to make sure all was good. We knew where to reach them if we needed them! Highly, Highly Recommend! On Top of all of this VERY REASONABLE!
