"Cross Creek" has a natural wooded area, secluded with a flowing creek. Located just off Wears Valley Road Area (HWY 321).
Our cabin is complete with all amenities. The interior is finished in lovely knotty pine, with oak hardwood flooring. The outer decking is wrapped on three sides with plenty of spacious area, for resting in a rocker, soaking and enjoying the hot tub, having a delightful cook out or best of all just enjoying the wooded view. Cabin is provided with a game room, with air hockey table, game table.
In the local area (Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Townsend) our cabin is located within minutes.
Within 30 minutes you are driving the winding roads through the Great Smoky Mountains. The famous Cades Cove is a must to see.
Advance booking is recommended, Payment plans available only if approved by owners.
$250.00 security deposit (backed by credit card - no debit cards) is required on all bookings, to cover broken, stolen or damaged property, any excess damages of the $250.00 will be charged to your credit card.
Personal checks accepted on advance bookings only.
We are private owners and respect that you booking dates are confirmed when booked. There is no cancellation. No cancellation on Major Holiday Booking or prime season booking. No bad weather cancellations. If booking during snow season, please consider bringing a set of snow chains, they do come in handy for a sudden snow storm. If a sudden illness or death prevent you from your booking dates. 50% of funds will be applied to available dates within 90 days.
Smoking allowed on the outside decks only.
Pets allowed up to 65 lbs. Pet fees of $50.00 per pet.
No ATV vehicles allowed on property, but there is facilities available.
We have a wonderful picnic area for you and your family to enjoy. Located by the creek side, in the woods, just a short walk from either cabin. Picnic tables, bar-b-que grill, fire pit.
Our cabins is privately owned and operated. We keep our cabins well maintained for your enjoyment pleasure. A pleasant vacation is a good vacation.
Wildlife is seen daily, please consider driving slowly to prevent accidents from happening.
Winter months, recommend four by four vehicle, for the steep hills and weather conditions.

Why the Owner Chose Wears Valley
While visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, we had found a place that filled our hearts and souls with pleasure. Owning a place in the mountain was our dream. A life time wish came true. Owning a cabin in mountains near a creek and tall timbers, that you can hear in the silence of the night, was more than a dream to come true. We bought the land and built our first cabin, and then suddenly we bought more land, with another cabin that ajoined our other cabin. We desided after we had move here from south Florida, that we would rent both of our cabins, and built another small cabin for me and my husband to live in. We can over see our property, and mantain the rental cabins to keep them nice for our guest. We are private people, and respect our renters privacy also. Each cabin is barely visible to each other, which makes it nice for all our renters that stays with us. Our Cabins are central located between Townsend and Pigeon Forge. It's near the gateway to the Smoky Mountain entrances. You have the peace and quite of the natural wood setting while your at the cabins, and if your interest in entertainment your just minutes away.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We have 40 acres to enjoy walking or hiking. The property has beautiful views and surrounding woods. Wildlife joins around you everyday. You'll find wild turkey, birds, squirrels, rabbits, deer, racoon and just might see one of our bear's named Charcoal is about 350lbs., Return is about 300 lbs., Little Scooter is now about 200 lbs. (born 2010). They friendly, but wouldn't want to try petting them. Remember they are wild and protective of thier Children.
Children love our area for the small creek that runs thru our property, especially during the summer. We also have an outside campfire site for roasting hotdogs and such. We also have an area for picnics, located in the woods near the creek. We provide swing and rockers on the outside decks to enjoy. Our cabin has full amenities for your whole family.

Hello, my name is Nell. For my renters that knew my husband Eddie. I'm a country girl raised in a small town in Alabama. Eddie a city boy, Boston raised and still parking his car, we meet in the Boston Area, way back when. What brought us together, God only knows. We spent most of our lives in South Florida, for over 30 years. We had enough of that flat land, so we deside to come to the Mountains in Tennessee. Where we live together on our wonderful property, and we have a business in the Wears Valley area. Come by and see us if your in the area, just give us a call we'll be glad to tell you about the mountains and the nice places to visit.
My husband has now passed, but there is still a part of his presence here. For those that knew him, will miss him.

My 4 year old son, Craig & I joined my father an some family form Miss. for the holidays. We thoroughly enjoyed the seclusion of the cabin, the hot tub in the evenings, the wide, long porches and the open a-frame feel in the mornings. We spent nights of togetherness, laughing at the dinning table, playing jengo, match games, scrabble and uno. During the days we hiked Middle Prong, walked the hills, played WII and air hocky, took some time in Pigeon Forge. Sometimes, I personally enjoyed taking daytime naps, drinking apple cider and reading at my pleasure. Thanks so much for the selection of books. This week gave me rest and time away from my daily routines. And I feel refreshed for the New Year. We really appreciate you and provision of yu cabin, God Bless!

This is our second time to stay here at your cabin and our second time to be snowed in here. We have had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the hot tub in the snow and the very long hike through the mountains, it is a lovely view. The kids enjoyed their long walks searching for cell phone service ha ha. They also enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. We plan on coming back in Spring. We also enjoyed the use of the gator. My husband had fun recueing people in the snow storm. Corbin, KY

I enjoyed my stay here liked it alot., the hot tub was probably the best part, ha.ha., that & specding time with my family. As my mom had said, this is our second time here, I enjoyed just as much as I had the first time, even getting snowed in. hmm. I did a lot of "site seeing", had to walk alot to find some cell service. I hope we can come back in Spring or Summer because like I'm turning 16, so if we come back in the summer that would be great! Thanks for the lovely movie collection, very good! but thank you for the lovely stay & for letting my parents us the gator, it was pretty fun to ride in it. Corbin, KY

My dad and I are way too busy, for our own good. We never seem to find a place where we can just relax and get away from the daily grind. This was the place!! We both commented that this was the most relaxing get-a-way we have ever been on. We fully intend to return next year. Arkansas

The cabin is beautiful and immaculate. It has every amenity you could possibly need and more. It is warm and cozy and very peaceful. The surrounding nature is just beautiful, with wild turkeys, deer and even saw a black momma bear and her two baby cubs.. That was awesome. The Smokey Mountains are right next door and so worth seeing. The owner Nell is a wonderful woman who is so accommodating and helped us to find our way around and recommended the best places to visit and the best places to eat. I couldn't have been happier with my experience at Shady Ann. I highly recommend staying there if you get a chance. You won't be disappointed. It was a terrific vacation!!!!

Shady Ann Cabin was a home away from home.It offered alot more than I had expected.The cabin was spotless, with everything you could possibly need.The interior decorating was done in excellent taste and detail, not what you would expect at a rental. The owner was very accommodating and informative. The property consists of 40 acres of beautiful private land surrounded by creeks and a lovely picnic area. My favorite attraction was Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains which was about 20 minutes away. I hope to return every year to the glorious place.
