Thanks for an awesome week! we relaxed after a long drive here. We loved hiking in the smokies, target shooting, cooking out, making smores, hot tubbing, long walks on your property and relaxing. Visited Laurels Falls, Cades Cove and Townsend Institute, We did venture to Pigeon forge & Gatlinburg, but avoided but we voided most of it. We preferred the quiet peacefulness of this area. It was a beautiful wee and we thank you for your hospitality and comfortable accommodation. We'll recommend!

Nell, We have enjoyed our stay at your cabin. Nice setting, clean cabin with all necessary amenities. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. We all enjoyed the mountains and enjoyed cooking on the Barbeque. Thank you and we hope we were good guests?

Nell, Thanks so much for letting us stay at your cbin again in such a short notice. We stay in June of last year, it was our birthday weekend gat-a-way and I was 5 months pregnant. We how have a beautiful son who we will definetly be bringing back here real soon. Nell, We really enjoyed our stay here at Saddle Ridge. As you know we came here for our "Honeymoon". We loved every minute of it! Your property is so beautiful especially now with the fall colors. It was just the peaceful & seculed atmosphere we were looking for. Thanks again for your hospitality & hopefully we will return here one day in the future. Our Pup "Remi" enjoyed it to, thanks for being pet friendly.

Mrs. OConnell, Thank you for taking us in at the last moment. My husband and I really enjoyed the quite, the cabin is beautiful. I am from the mountains of southeast Ky, so this felt like home. Our son and his wife joined us for the weekend and we had a nice visit with them, we hope we'll be able to return.

Nell, Me and my fiance stayed at your cabin. We come here at have a vacation before our son is born in November and to celebrate my 36th birthday. The cabin is beautiful both inside and out. We went to laurel falls and Cade Cove where we saw a mommy bear & her 3 cubs. This will be a vacation I will never forget. I'll have a lot of good memories here at the cabin and in the smokies. Can't wait until next year.

Nell, What a lovely cabin you have and every basic item has been provided. This was been out most pleasureable stay yet in our 5 trips to this beautiful state of Tn. The fireplace was such a luzury for the 2 of us"beach folk". We have to leave tomorrow but we have the memories of time spent here and your hospitality. Bless you and we will be back!

Oh we had a wonderful time here. This is a beautiful cabin with some great mountain views. Of all the years we have been together, my husband and I decided that this was the best 7th anniversary we shared together. Matter of fact we paln to visit on our anniversary to rekindle our love for each other and get away from our busy daily routine.The cabin itself was very peaceful and your planning was very thoughful.Next year we will stay longer and visit the fine attractions in the areas.

Miss Nell, Thank you so much for sharing your cabin & property with us. My husband & I spent and celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary at your cabin. It was perfect place for tranquility and relaxation. It was our first trip to Tennessee and visiting the Smoky Mountains. Our kids & her friend enjoyed the views and the hot tub. We was unsure of what to expect when we arrived and to our amazement the cabin was so beautiful & clean. Cleaner than most hotels we have stayed at.

The cabin is beautiful and immaculate. It has every amenity you could possibly need and more. It is warm and cozy and very peaceful. The surrounding nature is just beautiful, with wild turkeys, deer and even saw a black momma bear and her two baby cubs.. That was awesome. The Smokey Mountains are right next door and so worth seeing. The owner Nell is a wonderful woman who is so accommodating and helped us to find our way around and recommended the best places to visit and the best places to eat. I couldn't have been happier with my experience at Shady Ann. I highly recommend staying there if you get a chance. You won't be disappointed. It was a terrific vacation!!!!

This is our second time to stay here at your cabin and our second time to be snowed in here. We have had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the hot tub in the snow and the very long hike through the mountains, it is a lovely view. The kids enjoyed their long walks searching for cell phone service ha ha. They also enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. We plan on coming back in Spring. We also enjoyed the use of the gator. My husband had fun recueing people in the snow storm. Corbin, KY

I enjoyed my stay here liked it alot., the hot tub was probably the best part, ha.ha., that & specding time with my family. As my mom had said, this is our second time here, I enjoyed just as much as I had the first time, even getting snowed in. hmm. I did a lot of "site seeing", had to walk alot to find some cell service. I hope we can come back in Spring or Summer because like I'm turning 16, so if we come back in the summer that would be great! Thanks for the lovely movie collection, very good! but thank you for the lovely stay & for letting my parents us the gator, it was pretty fun to ride in it. Corbin, KY

My 4 year old son, Craig & I joined my father an some family form Miss. for the holidays. We thoroughly enjoyed the seclusion of the cabin, the hot tub in the evenings, the wide, long porches and the open a-frame feel in the mornings. We spent nights of togetherness, laughing at the dinning table, playing jengo, match games, scrabble and uno. During the days we hiked Middle Prong, walked the hills, played WII and air hocky, took some time in Pigeon Forge. Sometimes, I personally enjoyed taking daytime naps, drinking apple cider and reading at my pleasure. Thanks so much for the selection of books. This week gave me rest and time away from my daily routines. And I feel refreshed for the New Year. We really appreciate you and provision of yu cabin, God Bless!

Shady Ann Cabin was a home away from home.It offered alot more than I had expected.The cabin was spotless, with everything you could possibly need.The interior decorating was done in excellent taste and detail, not what you would expect at a rental. The owner was very accommodating and informative. The property consists of 40 acres of beautiful private land surrounded by creeks and a lovely picnic area. My favorite attraction was Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains which was about 20 minutes away. I hope to return every year to the glorious place.

Our stay at the "Shadyann" was great. We were able to enjoy our family, relax and even found time to play in the game room. The "Shadyann" was more than a cabin, it was our home for the week. It was comfortable and spacious. The O'Connell's thought of everything, even the corn to feed the squirrels. Our granddaughter loved her loft bed - she felt like she was sleeping in the treetops. We would certainly recommend the "Shadyann" for your stay in the smokies.
