This is a photo of Joan & Wes Stephens, Owners of Graymor Garden Cottage (and that's Jett the Catt in Joan's arms). This photo was taken on the ocean front patio of the Cottage property.
Why the Owner Chose Campbell River
The Cottage is located on the property with our home and until the summer of 2004 it was rented to permanent tenants. In June 2004 we renovated and furnished it and began offering it as a Vacation Rental property.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
The Cottage is located close to downtown Campbell River and is surrounded by gardens. The ocean front patio provides an ever-changing view of marine traffic on Discovery Passage - Alaska cruise ships, tugs towing container barges and log booms, yachts, sail boats and lots of large and small fishing boats. We pride ourselves on offering a spotlessly clean, comfortable accommodation with loads of amenities (as detailed on our listing).

While spending 7 months 2008/2009 at Graymor Garden Cottage, I was comfortable, cozy, and felt quite “at home”. It really is fully equipped; all you need is your clothes and your toothbrush. It’s an adorable cottage in a beautiful setting with fabulous views. I enjoyed eagles soaring above, cruise ships gliding by, and the garden evolving from autumn to winter to spring. The location is within easy walking distance to downtown for shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area. They went out of their way to ensure my comfort and were very welcoming to my pets.

It's been said many times in this book already, but I have to say it too....your cottage & hospitality are exceptional. The cottage has everything, including matching bathrobes. We especially enjoyed our nightly fire and the library is an awesome touch!

Two English "ladies" came in from next door; To savour the special delights of Graymor; A wonderful place to "chill out" and read; To give energy and refreshment - and all that we need....to continue our journey to Alaska. Far too much to see and do in 2 days - hope to be back someday. A fascinating house in beautiful surroundings.

Your cottage is just so charming and comfortable. The highlight for us was watching Wes fee the two bald eagles from your patio. What an incredible scene, in a fantastic setting!! I really felt at peace here.
