We just returned from a family wedding in Campbell River. I was in need of two nights accomodations and POSSIBLY a meeting spot for more family members depending on everyone's proximity. I had heard that MOST out-of-town guests were booked into B & B's all over the Campbell River area. As it turned out - Graymor Cottage was the FAVORITE gathering spot. Since we tend to be loud when we get together (which is about once a year!) - we appreciated the privacy and not needing to worry about bothering our hosts. Because our trip was centered around a family gathering with limited time I wanted something that would feel like "a home away from home" and I got EXACTLY what I wanted. You KNEW that you wouldn't want for anything. This was exactly like being at home. EVERYTHING you needed was there. This spot has good karma!! Great hosts...great location...great value for the dollar. I look forward to returning when the garden is in full bloom. GREAT PLACE!

While spending 7 months 2008/2009 at Graymor Garden Cottage, I was comfortable, cozy, and felt quite “at home”. It really is fully equipped; all you need is your clothes and your toothbrush. It’s an adorable cottage in a beautiful setting with fabulous views. I enjoyed eagles soaring above, cruise ships gliding by, and the garden evolving from autumn to winter to spring. The location is within easy walking distance to downtown for shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area. They went out of their way to ensure my comfort and were very welcoming to my pets.

It's been said many times in this book already, but I have to say it too....your cottage & hospitality are exceptional. The cottage has everything, including matching bathrobes. We especially enjoyed our nightly fire and the library is an awesome touch!

Two English "ladies" came in from next door; To savour the special delights of Graymor; A wonderful place to "chill out" and read; To give energy and refreshment - and all that we need....to continue our journey to Alaska. Far too much to see and do in 2 days - hope to be back someday. A fascinating house in beautiful surroundings.

Your cottage is just so charming and comfortable. The highlight for us was watching Wes fee the two bald eagles from your patio. What an incredible scene, in a fantastic setting!! I really felt at peace here.

I have been traveling to all parts of the globe week in & week out for my company for approximately 10 years. I had the privilege of staying at the Graymore for 8 months in 2005 / 2006. Quite frankly, I have been spoiled. Whether you are out seeing the sites of the surrounding area by day, and relaxing by the fire by night, or sitting on the deck & enjoying the beautiful peacefulness of the garden while the BBQ spits & sizzles & eagles soar overhead, it is the most amazing place, a truly spectacular vacation location. The hosts do all the little things that make your stay enjoyable (including Christmas trees & fresh picked holy in December, and fresh cut flowers all through the growing season). Oh yes – and the fireplace is always ready to lay a match to!

What a GEM! We were so lucky to have found you, Joan and Wes- the four of us had arrived to Campbell River via Comox Ferry from Powell River and we found the most perfect spot to vacation in for the better part of the week last week. My brother-in-law and his wife joined us from Toronto and we were all amazed at the cottage and your garden, and we were so comfortable during our stay! Your hospitality, the details and the effort you have put into the Graymor Cottage were appreciated by us all! Thank you, and we definitely hope to be back soon- a fishing trip for the boys perhaps?
