Ahhhh-----the WOODS and the MOUNTAIN VIEW!!!!!!! This is what you're looking for! 'ON EAGLE'S WINGS' cabin has it all!!! Whether you're just a couple wanting some time alone, or a large family or friends wanting to create some special memories, 'On Eagle's Wings' will be the perfect retreat.
'On Eagle's Wings' cabin was so named because you will feel like you are 'soaring with eagles' to see such a magnificent view of Greenbriar Pinnacle from the many large picture windows. (see Exodus 19:4 and Isaiah 40:31) The mountain views can be seen from every room in the house. There is even a special sunroom that is practically ALL glass to take in everything. Your views are of the northern border of the Smokies so you won't be gazing at a mountainside of cabins.
With over 2100 sq. ft., the cabin has all large rooms including a massive master bedroom with it's own balcony that utilizes the whole top floor. The main floor consists of a large living room dining combo with glistening wood floors, a spacious well appointed kitchen and a magnificent sunroom with high beamed ceilings. On the lower level, you will find two more spacious bedrooms and a full bath, utility area and the screened porch with the large hot tub overlooking the views.
When you arrive at the cabin you can pull right into the carport and easily unload your belongings. There is a maximum of four cars for the driveway which is still more than most cabins have room for.
The Village of Cobbly Nob
If you've never been to Cobbly Nob, you are in for a real treat! It is a secured village on Webb Mountain that overlooks the northern border of the Smoky Mountain National Park just 10 miles east of downtown Gatlinburg on Hwy 321. (it's the most beautiful side of Gatlinburg).
Upon entering, you will pass our 24/7 security house and cross over our beautiful Gary Player golf greens. It looks like a lovely valley with lakes and geese between mountains. (almost like you've entered a fairy tale because it looks so lovely) You will then begin a graceful climb up Webb Mountain where the beautiful homes and cabins of Cobbly Nob are hidden.
Cobbly Nob is close enough to Gatlinburg to be there in minutes, but far out enough to have the natural beauty of the Appalachians. There is a small store/restaurant just across the street that even provides 'Pizza Delivery'!!! Cobbly Nob has three beautiful swimming pools in wooded settings in the village so there will be one located not too far away from the cabin. The village also has very good roads with maintenance, so if you happen to get a snow, they will have it cleared for travel in no time. And if you love golf, everything is right here!
So, if you want to be surrounded by beauty while visiting the Smokies, 'On Eagle's Wings awaits you! Every season has it's unique beauty. Our property is full of bulbs, flowering bushes and trees to provide you eye candy. Don't forget the magnificent display of color you'll get during the Fall of the year as well. Winter stays shouldn't be overlooked either. The prices are VERY low and your views are even more expansive. If you're lucky enough to get a snow, you will enjoy keeping the fires going and the beauty outdoors will make you feel you are living in a post card!
I'm convinced once you visit 'ON EAGLE'S WINGS' you will want to come back again and again. You will feel it's your home in the Smokies.

"On Eagle's Wings" is a beautiful home with breath taking views! Probably the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in! Colleen, homeowner, was extremely friendly and helpful! Cobbly Nob was quiet, clean, and beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and being able to relax by the two wood-burning fireplaces in the evenings after a fun day in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! We stayed 7 nights at Eagle's Wings' and really enjoyed our stay. It was myself, my husband, two small children along with my mother and father in law. It was plenty of room for the 6 of us and hard to beat the view we awoke to each morning. The hot tub was fabulous and the washer and dryer helped tremendously, especially with little ones:) It is about a 10 to 15 mins. to Gatlinburg. So, not too far to go to get to the attractions.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed on eagles wings! The owner is awesome to work with ! The veiw of the mountains are awesome ! The cabin is fully equipped and well maintained I highly recomend on Eagles Wings. it is away from the crowds but still close enough to enjoy everthing . Thanks for a wonderfull place.Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.

My family of seven spent a week outside of Gatlinburg to enjoy the cool weather and Smokey Mountains. We were very impressed with "On Eagle's Wings" - it was very clean, had plenty of space, and beautiful views of the mountains. Also enjoyed the location as it is close to Gatlinburg but not in the traffic and bustle of the town. We would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place with a view and privacy that is large enough for a family.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My two friends and I had a relaxing stay at "On Eagle's Wings." We woke every morning to a gorgeous view of the Smokies, and we went to bed after a relaxing evening in the hot tub. The house was clean and well-appointed, just as described, with plenty of room for a group twice our size. Some powerful storms knocked out a few of the fuses, but the owner resolved our electrical problems right away--she was attentive and concerned about our needs. We were happy to be about a 20 minute drive away from all the traffic and tourism of downtown Gatlinburg--it was a perfect mountain retreat with plenty of peace and quiet. The road up to the house is steep and windy, but after our first trip up, we were familiar with the curves and driving was no problem. Overall, a lovely stay in a lovely home.Recommended for: Girls getaway.

We just spent a fantastic week at this cabin! The description and pictures are exactly on target! The views of the mountains were beyond amazing! And there were no other cabins to look at! It was a very secluded-feeling cabin, and felt very homey inside. It was easy to navigate the roads and was not "straight up a mountain" like many homes in the Smokies. The layout of the cabin gives plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We loved sitting on the porch, listening to the birds and looking at the mountains. It is far enough out of town to be able to leave the chaos of Gatlinburg behind and enjoy the true beauty of the Smoky Mountains! The owners were very easy to work with and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend this cabin! The views from every level were just awesome!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.
