Start your day watching the waves and seagulls while having your morning coffee on the deck. Then you can take your seat in the Great Room dining area and delight in the breakfast creations coming from the fully equipped kitchen. Afterwards, you might decide to take a stroll on the miles of beach just outside your door. And so it goes, another day of slowing down and relaxing is off to an impressive beginning. And, if you just can’t quite totally disconnect, a Wireless Broadband connection allows you to keep in touch.
The normal rental party for Villa by the Breakers is 6 guests and there is an additional charge for parties in excess of 6. The maximum group size we are set up to accommodate is 8 people. The Master bedroom has a King bed. One bedroom has a Queen bed. Another has two double beds set up in a bunk bed configuration along with a twin bed; the fourth bedroom doubles as a sitting room and has a couch with a pull-out double size bed.
Villa by the Breakers is a luxury rental and will appeal to discerning travelers who want to spend their beach vacation in comfort. Our home has everything needed to help you enjoy your vacation. The Great Room has a large, well-stocked kitchen that features a new stove with double ovens, a new dishwasher, a new refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker, a microwave and all the pots, pans and utensils you might need. Best of all, wherever you are in the Great Room, you won’t miss out on a minute of ocean viewing. Windows and skylights abound in this bright well appointed room. A double Fireplace adds to the charm while a newly installed hardwood floor completes the ambiance of this magnificent space. The comfortable chairs in front of the Fireplace invite you to relax with a good book and a glass of your favorite wine.
Walk through a door by the fireplace and you are in your dining room. A large pecan wood table comfortably seats 8 people. While dining, you won’t miss the beautiful sunset as there are many windows providing beach and ocean vistas. If you are dining after sunset you can use the fireplace and the controllable lighting to create an intimate dining atmosphere.
A large Entertainment Room provides a place to play the many Board Games that are in your game closet or perhaps a jigsaw puzzle if that is your preference. If television watching is your desire, a 59 inch Samsung Plasma HDTV with 3D capabilities is paired up with Comcast Cable, a Digital Video Recorder and a Blu-Ray player to create a video system that is more than capable of satisfying the most discerning videophile. There are two beautiful leather couches and a large leather chair that provide a very comfortable seating arrangement. For the youngsters (and the young at heart) there is an arcade video game that offers numerous video games to test your skill.
A spiral staircase from the Master Bath takes you up to an enclosed Hot Tub room with views of the ocean and a private deck as well. There is also a spiral staircase down from the full bath on the Great Room level.
You have a clothes Washer and Dryer available for your use and a two car garage to keep your car out of the salt air. Pets are not allowed and this is a smoke free home.

I rented the house over Labor Day weekend for my family of three and my friend's family of four. We had two 1 year olds and a 5 year in total. It was awesome to be so close to the beach and the house is set up great. The great room and media room are on the top floor to take advantage of the views. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is well stocked. It house is a 10 minute drive to the center of Westport and there's a 24 hour grocery store 5 minutes away. We got great weather (mid-70s) the whole time and that really made the weekend special. My friends came from Seattle and we from Portland. Both routes took four hours getting there but only three on the way home on Monday. Marty the owner is great and so is Matt his property manager. The only misses was that the hot tub wasn't working and the grill wouldn't start. But overall a great house with an A plus view and location.Owner response: I really appreciate this great review! There were two problems identified that are being addressed. First, the hot tub was not working. The hot tub should be fixed by the end of October, 2012. The tub had developed a leak that grew progressively worse during the summer until it finally reached a volume that necessitated that it be taken out of service. The guest was notified of this problem prior to the rental. Second, the gas grill wouldn't work. I think the issue here is really that it is difficult to tell when the grill is lit. I had been at the house just a few weeks before and noticed that it was difficult to determine if the grill is lit. I will ask my property manager to make the gas grill part of the tour and instructions about the house that every guest receives when they arrive. These guests took really great care of my house and were very easy to deal with. I am sorry that everything wasn't perfect for their stay, but I think their identified issues are being dealt with and I do thank them for the feedback.

THE RATES FOR ALL SEASONS AND ALL EVENTS ARE FOR A PARTY OF 6. There will be an additional charge of $65 per day for each person above 6 during the summer season; $55 off season. The maximum party size we will accept is 8 total.
Reduced rates are available for smaller parties at all times of the year except when event rates apply. Small Groups please call for a quote.
50% of the rental charge is due immediately. Your reservation is not confirmed until this payment is received. The balance and the damage/cleaning deposit is due with the second payment that is due 6 weeks prior to your check-in date. The preferred method of payment is eCheck. Visa, Master Card and Discover credit cards are accepted.
Additional Fees and Taxes:
The local and state tax rate is 11.9%. There is a fully refundable damage/cleaning deposit of $500.00 and a cleaning fee of $160.00.

Why the Owner Chose Westport:
A vacation rental on the ocean has been a dream of ours for many years. We just never thought we would be so fortunate as to find such a beautiful home in such a great location. And, our daughter and her family live in Tacoma, only a 1 and ¾ hour drive away.
My wife Sandy and I live in Colorado just outside of Denver. We love the mountains and everything about our great state, but it doesn’t have an ocean and we are a long ways from our grandkids. We decided to explore the possibility of acquiring a home on the ocean somewhere on the Washington shore. When we came upon Villa by the Breakers, it was love at first sight.
We spent Christmas of 2011 here with our grandkids and enjoyed every minute of it. It is so relaxing and quiet that you get your batteries recharged and de-stressed within a few days. One of the best ways to relax is to take a walk on the miles of beach just outside the door.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The proximity to the Pacific Ocean is one of the biggest attractors of this property. Living just yards from this mighty body of water is quite an experience. You can observe the changes in the weather and wave patterns close up and personal. Experiencing a winter storm from this location is a very unique happening.
There is a lot of peace and quiet here. We are fortunate enough to have some distance from our next door neighbors and the sound of the surf creates what seems like a cocoon that takes you away from the work-a-day world that we all have to live in. The feel here is like being in another reality. The surf, wind, sand, beach and comfort of your home conspire to take you to a more laid back and peaceful place.
This home is beautiful, with a great floor plan for beach living and has just had some significant remodeling. New Hardwood Floors on the Great Room level and New Carpet on the Bedroom level give it a clean fresh look. Also a New Range with Double Ovens, a New Refrigerator and a New Dishwasher make cooking and cleaning up a snap. In addition, the New Big Screen television with DVR and Blu-Ray coupled with wireless broadband give you the access and entertainment that you expect.
Fishing, whale watching, wine tasting, hiking, beach walking, boogie boarding, and water activities are all close by and easily accessible. The town of Westport is about 2 ½ miles away with grocery shopping less than a mile.
