Very clean cottage, well equipped, beds were comfortable and ideal location to everything. Weather cooperated but the fish didn't, but that's not the main reason we went there. Nice restaurants in the surrounding areas and pleasant shops in neighboring towns. Very nice area just to relax, read, cookout and just enjoy the surrounding area. Was nice to have your own private dock for your boat or just to sit and watch the sun set. Lots of eagles and Pileated Woodpeckers in the area.

Manager response: It is great to hear that you both had a wonderful vacation! I agree that there are quite a few places in the surrounding area with good food. Happy to hear that the cabin was comfortable for you. We appreciate all your nice comments and also for taking your time to respond. Hope to hear from you again next year.

Loved every thing about the cabin. Very adorable decor. Fishing could have been better but we had a few fish cooperate. Had the chance to meet the Brockmans and they are the nicest people you will never meet! Overall we had a wonderful stay and look forward to renting again.

The cottage was very cute, clean and cozy. The unit was well stocked with helpful appliances etc. The description was misleading in that it said the shore was sandy and excellent for swimning. The shore was very weedy. If you wanted to swim you have to go to the park 1-2 miles away. In addition the neighbors called and said the grass needed clipping. It did, about a month's growth. There was no precautions taken for our stuff outside. I had a tarp for the pop camper completely loaded with grass clipping and grass stains because the grass was wet. I threw it away.

Manager response: We take tremendous pride in meeting all of our tenant’s needs. We appreciate all feedback so that we can make sure that everything meets our visitor’s standards. We did check on our lawn service and apparently the gentlemen's father was ill and he needed to travel out of state. We were not notified that it was not cut. We have hired another service that will guarantee cutting on Saturday before the visitors arrive. We apologize! We were up there this weekend and made sure it was back to the condition it should be in. The lake has no weeds in the spring but by the time August arrives it will have weeds, as most lakes will. In your contract you had listed 2 occupants but we were informed that there was a camper, approximately 10 people and 3 dogs. This was not mentioned when you booked your week. Our housekeeper said that you left the cottage in great condition so we thank you! Sincerely, Lee and Barb Brockman
Very nice cottage
Very nice cottage
What a wonderful week we had, beautiful weather, gorgeous lake. Cottage was very clean and well kept and easy to find. Power at the shore was nice to recharge batteries in the boat. Lawn nicely mowed. Neighbors were nice as can be. It was nice to have enough room for two couples to relax after a day on the lake. Good view of lake out the large bay window and binoculars to watch the eagles flying. I liked the shower with good water pressure. Ample parking for two vehicles and boat trailer. Gas grill was convenient and used daily. Boat was easy to park at nice long dock with rail bumpers attached. People in Land O Lakes were real friendly and we even went up to the casino once. Closest boat landing was a little shallow for launching boat but it worked for my 18 ft boat. We had a great week, Thanks so much.

Ice Fishing Trip
Beautiful cabin! Very clean, well stocked, nicely decorated and very comfortable. We spent three nights on an ice-fishing trip. Cabin is close enough to the lake for easy access summer and winter. We've stayed in other cabins on this lake and this was one of the best. We will return next year. Thanks for a great get-away!

Spring, Summer and Fall are also great times to visit. Thank you for taking such great care of our cabin. We welcome you and appreciate you taking the time to comment!
This cottage is so cute! We loved the cozy feeling, but felt like we had plenty of room for a family of four. The cottage is decorated perfectly and all the comforts of home are provided. We would definately consider renting this unit again. Thank you for having us!

Lovely cabin with great location
Lovely cabin with great location
This was a very nice cabin, the pictures on the internet are accurate. It was a comfortable, clean and a well stocked cabin. It was also decorated very nicely, more like what you would do if it were your own, not a rental. All of my questions were answered by the owner and the manager prior to renting it. The owners were very nice and even called to tell us to enjoy our time. It is a very private setting with a fabulous view of the lake and easy access with your private pier. We were there at a perfect time for the fall color, it was beautiful. I would highly recommend this cabin and area for anyone wanting a very relaxing vacation, you won't be disappointed in either. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had a very enjoyable stay, the cottage was absolutely charming. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. I especially liked having a washer and dryer available on the premises. New to the area, we hired a fishing guide, recommended by your manager, and was very pleased. Unfortunately, the fish were not as cooperative. Next time. Thank you for sharing your lovely get-a-way with us, a quiet, relaxing, enjoyable vacation is just wonderful, and we will look forward to possibly visiting again next year.

We had an awesome vacation! The cottage was very cozy, well furnished with modern furniture and appliances. Very northwoods decor. The lot is huge and well kept, great bbq area, and the pier was new. We had eagles and loons out our window view. The lake and area is beautiful. You have quiet seclusion here versus a loud resort. My family wants to come back here for years to come!
