  We rented "Hold Your Seahorses" for a two month period while waiting for our new home to be completed in Santa Rosa Beach. I cannot say enough about how enjoyable it was to stay in this beautifully decorated and comfortable home for this extended stay. From top to bottom, all rooms were decorated "tastefully beachy" and just added such a welcoming and warm feeling. The home was so spacious and could easily accommodate a large family. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking, baking, serving, and entertaining. The cleanliness of the home was impeccable and impressed us as "top of the line" compared to other rentals where we have stayed. The location of this home in Old Florida Village was just right; near the pool, looking over the lake, and away from the heavier traffic during the peak spring break period with the beach being a short bike ride away. The owners were so easy to work with and made everything easy to do such as check-in, check-out, transfer of funds, and refund of security deposit. All in all, we rate our stay at Hold Your Seahorses as a top 10 experience and would recommend this rental highly to anyone searching for a home in Old Florida Village. Our absolute favorite aspect of this rental was the beautiful back porch where we could relax as we took in the beautiful scenery of the lake and the sound of the frogs and the birds. Absolutely amazing! This was an absolute blessing!

  We were pleasantly surprised at all the added goodies we found at the house. Starbucks coffee, cabinet full of spices (we always forget these) and best of all the cabinet of storage containers. This is a must for Thanksgiving since there are so many left overs. The house and neighborhood were exactly what we expected, quiet, well appointed and convenient. We had a great time!

  Perfect for a family of 5 , we wanted for nothing during our stay. Highly recommend to anyone who wants some serious R&R. House was very clean and comfortable.

  We've stayed in 5 or 6 houses in Old Florida Village and loved Hold Your Seahorses! It was exactly as advertised, and the owners are great to work--concerned with customer satisfaction above all. We would absolutely stay here again. The house has a lot to offer families with young kids--much more than other homes in Old Florida Village. In addition to the fun stuff--beach toys, floats, etc--the house is stocked with two functional baby gates, a clean, functional booster seat, first aid kit, and even a baby monitor (we didn't use the monitor though as we'd brought our own). The heavy furniture like TV stand and dressers are even bolted to the walls to ease the mind of the most apprehensive mom. The only additional consideration might be to bring your own outlet covers if your kids are into that kind of thing.

  My husband and I stayed at Hold Your Seahorses for a week in late September/early October, and we had a wonderful time. The house is exactly as the photos depict, it's very clean, in a very cute neighborhood, and the owners were very helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed for our arrival to go smoothly. The house is about a half mile from the beach and since we went during the slow season, there was plenty of parking, so we drove. We used the chairs and umbrella the owners had at the house, which made it so easy. We had an excellent trip and will hopefully be back soon!

  My family and arrived on a Saturday evening in Santa Rosa Beach at this most charming home! Upon arrival, we entered this very comfortable and well appointed home. We had a blast for one week and was sad to see the week end. My son loved the proximity of the pools, and as such, we spent a fair amount of time there, also. The beach, not far, was as beautiful as we expected, even more so. We enjoyed biking, paddle boarding, shopping and so much more. We lacked for nothing in the home, and my son was thrilled to learn he had a TV in his room! Every time we returned to the neighborhood, my son would exclaim "Ah, we have arrived in Paradise!" Thank you to the owners for sharing this gem with us! Should you decide to stay here, you will not regret one moment and you will find yourself wanting to return again and again.

  This was the absolutely the best place to stay. The house was beautiful and the neighborhood was so quiet. We loved that there was anything you could want to use for the beach, we didnt have to pack any of that to bring with us. Rick and Sharon were so nice and answered our many questions we had. We would definitely rent again. The driveway was a little tight, we were in a BIG suburban and we had to park at an angle in the drive but that wasnt a big deal. We would recommend this property to anyone. Its great for families, even with older children. We have 2 seventeen year olds and a 20 year old that came with us and they loved it.

  This home was well furnished compared to other homes we have stayed in the same subdivision. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking for those nights you want to eat in. The decor is great for a beach home with lots of nice artwork. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone. Close enough to Destin and Panama City for the shopping and water parks but love the uncrowded beaches in Santa Rosa. St Andrews State Park in Panama City is great. Goatfeathers for dinner is a must.

  We had the perfect vacation! We have 4 little kids 6 and under, and we all loved every minute of it. My parents came too so we had a total of 8 people, and it was the perfect size. It was also really nice that there was a pack 'n play, high chair, and baby gates, so we didn't have to bring all that extra stuff. I was planning on buying beach toys when we got there, but there was so much stuff there for my kids to take to the beach, we never had to buy a thing. It was clean, and the owners were very accommodating! We are thinking about starting an annual trip there and staying there every year. The neighborhood was awesome and so quiet. The pool was nice and we were lucky to have it to ourselves almost every time! I would highly recommend "Hold Your Seahorses" to anyone!
