Casa del Pajaro Volande, the House of the Soaring Bird, is located in the secluded, beachfront community of Playa Litibu, a 45 minute drive from the Puerto Vallarta international airport. Playa Litibu is a small, tranquil community of stunning, private homes near popular attractions.
With all the features and amenities of Casa del Pajaro Volande, you never need to leave the area for a restful and relaxing stay, other than taking a walk on the beach or relaxing by the pool. But one can easily explore the nearby towns of Sayulita, Punta Mita, and San Francisco. Guests may also choose to venture to Bucerias or Puerto Vallarta for its shops, the ‘malecon’ (a beach walkway) and extensive dining choices, and vibrant nightlife.
The three story home, built in 2011, sits on a gentle sloping lot only 30 meters away from the beach, with direct beach access. The two upper floors, (the living levels) offer spectacular 180 degree views of the beach and ocean. With balconies running the length of the home, you will be able to watch the waves and the spectacular pink and red sunsets. The property features three distinct living areas, two casitas and the third floor living area, each of which can be rented together or separately.
The third floor living area consists of a large living room/ dining room with 4 meter ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen with new, stainless steel appliances. The living room contains a 46 inch flat screen T.V. and a full sound system enabling guests to play music throughout the property. The spacious, master bedroom suite offers a canopy, queen bed (canopy not shown in photo), 4 meter ceilings, handmade cabinetry, and an expansive closet area. The luxurious master bath includes double showers and double vanity sinks. For those who rent the third floor, there is an elevator.
The second level of the home is where both casitas are located. The second level offers a truly unique design of open air architecture. A large lounge space, containing a sofa and fireplace, adjoins the pool and barbeque area and the two casitas.
Casita Rosa Mexicano (the larger casita) has a queen bed; flatscreen TV and entertainment system; kitchen area with sink, fridge, microwave, stove and oven; full bathroom; four person dining table; couch and table; air conditioning; ceiling fan. The entire beach side of this casita has windows witha view of the beach and ocean, and opens onto a balcony.
Casita Naranja (the smaller casita) has a king bed or two double beds, whichever you prefer; kitchen area with sink, fridge, microwave, stove and oven, full bathroom, air conditioning and ceiling fan.
This home offers onsite laundry, wi-fi throughout, and potable water (filtered through a state of the art filtration system). The heated pool, which is filled with salted water and does not use chlorine, provides an additional option to the beach.
There are two Jack Nicklaus and one Greg Norman championship golf courses within 10 kilometers. In the village of Punta Mita, just 10 kilometers to the south, you’ll find the four star Café de Artistes and numerous other excellent restaurants. Sayulita, with its surfer beach, beach side restaurants, and numerous shops offering both local and international art, is just 25 kilometers to the north.
Arrangements can be made for many activities, such as snorkeling, whale watching trips, fishing, horseback riding, golf, massages, and swimming with the dolphins. Cleaning is included in the rental and is done twice a week. Arrangements can be made for additional assistance. Arrangements can also be made for a chef to come and prepare dinners each night.
