We actually hate to give this 5 stars only because we don't want the secret out. But the reality is we can not stop talking about this trip and this location. So if you're considering staying here... don't hesitate, book it. The views are amazing and the accommodations were perfect for two people and secluded from Carlos's other properties. Culebra is uniquely perfect place to kick back and enjoy life.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We stayed in another rental on the other side of the island a few days ,then moved to Carlos place for the remainder of our stay there.Wish we would have stayed here the whole time.It was perfect for us.You cant find a better view than from this place. We will never forget the nightime view of the stars above, and the lights of Vieques and Puerto Rico in the distance. If I wanted one thing to be different ,I could live without the roosters waking me up very early, but earplugs takes care of that.Anyone would love this place. My wife wants to return to Culebra,if we do we will most likely stay here againRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

The property was fantastic in every way. Extremely quiet, clean, and charming. The detail from the paintings on the wall, the hand carved decor, to the extraordinary view make this a stay that you will never forget. The deck is large and view over looking the nature reserve is a view that should be attached to a 1,500 a night hotel. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy the island from pots and pan to beach chairs, a umbrella, and a cooler. Really no detail was spared to ensure that your vacation on Culebra is memorable and unique. I would recommend this property to any couple looking to enjoy each other and the serenity of island life. We will be back for sure.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This cottage is incredible. The reviews are absolutely spectacular and pictures cannot do them justice. We traveled all over Puerto Rico for our honeymoon last week and Culebra was our favorite. The location is perfect; just down the street from "downtown", yet we felt completely alone up on top of this hill. I researched every other rental/hotel option on the island and driving by them I can tell that we definitely found something special and better than any other accommodations. We recommend also renting your vehicle from Carlos. We got a golf cart and it was a perfect way to experience the island. We can't wait to come backRecommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We spent two nights here in early March 2012 before heading to a larger house near Zoni to stay with another couple. This little cottage is so special! It's a studio style room with the kitchen on one side, bed in the middle, and bathroom/outdoor shower on the other. This makes it sound small but in reality it feels very spacious due to the high ceilings, big windows and big deck in the front. This is a very romantic spot and I'd recommend it for a couple. However, we brought our one year old and had a great time. He's a good walker so we were fine wandering around the deck and steps with him, hunting lizards. We all slept on the comfortable queen sized bed together. We cooked breakfast and lunch here easily - the kitchen is thoughtfully equipped. Don't miss out on this lovely spot.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This place is magical - it's heaven on earth! Carlos (the brilliant and kind owner) has added such magnificent little touches that you can tell it comes straight from the heart. He has thought of everything! This property is a must when you stay on this island; it's the perfect little romantic stay. We brought my 16 year old son and they happily accommodated us with a roll away bed that was perfect. You'll find everything you need here and the peace, relaxation and views are unbelievable. I awoke to the rise of the sun and enjoyed every moment resting in the hammock. The sunsets are to die for. We watched sail boats go by the islands and listened to the sound of nature. Culebra is the perfect getaway - great people, great restaurants, fabulous snorkeling and beaches - we can't way to make our way back to Carlo's cabins on the hill. Thank you Carlos!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
