The beaches are great for hiking, shelling, clamming and crabbing when in season. Enjoy the beautiful views of Mount Rainier and the Cascades. Hike the numerous trails, rent a bike or kayak, play golf at the famous Port Ludlow Golf Course, or simply watch the beautiful sunrises. If you are lucky you'll see porpoises and a nuclear submarine go through the Hood Canal.
Great central location to visit Seattle, Victoria, Port Townsend, Whidbey Island, Hurricane Ridge, the rain forest, Whidbey Island, Norwegian town of Poulsbo.
