Great Family Reunion

The house was great for a multi-generation reunion and 80th birthday/mother's day party. We enjoyed the big table for meals -- and there was plenty of great takeout nearby. We were able to do things in both large groups and small ones. The kids (8, 5 & 3) enjoyed playing in the back and finding lots of doors and rooms to explore. We appreciated the flexibility in making this happen to fit our schedule. The owners were available to answer questions about the neighborhood and the bay area, and it is truly as lovely as the photos.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

My friends and I recently stayed in this apartment for a week and I can't say enough about it. Simone, the owner, and Nicky, the housekeeper, were both wonderful to deal with. The apartment was clean, well-furnished, and located in a really neat spot in the mission district. I got the best coffee I have ever had at place called Paul's right around the corner, there was easy access to bus routes and the subway to get you around town quickly, and the sheer volume of burrito/taco restaurants in the neighborhood made my head spin! I highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying close to a week in San Fran.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Myself and my extended family stayed in this property Thanksgiving week. We found it to be as described and photographed. The apartment was neat and clean when we arrived, nice linens on the beds(which were very comfortable) and plenty of towels. We were a family of 7 staying in the rental with an infant and two dogs. Both the property owner and manager were readily accessible for questions and promptly responded to our request for additional pots and pans. We hosted a thanksgiving dinner for 12 with plenty of room in the dining room. also provided to us were items for the baby(bathtub and highchair). The owner provides a laptop with wi-fi,we also appreciated having the use of a washer/dryer. The neighborhood was fine for walking, close to BART. Within walking distance were coffee shops, conveince stores, restaurants, drug stores and a large supermarket. We enjoyed our week and would stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

My family and I had to meet in SF last weekend for a tragic circumstance- the memorial for my brother who died at age 58 of a heart attack. I was lucky enough to go on Vrbo, refine the search to the Mission district, and find this place, hoping for privacy, but also proximity to one another. The owner was more than generous, empathetic and accommodating to our needs, as well as patient with our endless questions. The place is a spread out apartment with endearing little nooks and quirky spaces, making it easy to be togetheror apart in different areas. It was clean and charming and made our lodging needs such a stress-free situation. Every single one of us was pleased with this place. Thank you so much!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

Simone and Jessica were very warm, welcoming and accommodating when we arrived from a 13 hour flight from Guam. The flat was large, spacious and had every amenity we needed from washer/dryer, full kitchen, laptop with Wifi and more. The perks were the corner store on the same street, garage, the unlimited phone calls within the US and the rooftop solarium with sauna. I would recommend this place to my family and friends and would stay here again when we come back to San Francisco:).Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We recently stayed in 397033 in the Mission district in SF for 3 nights. This Apartment/house comfortably slept ten people. The house was located in a great area with plenty of sights and sounds. Viewing the murals and eating mexican food is a must for any visitors in this area. Transportation and parking can be a little tricky. I had to move my vehicle once for street cleaning...and the bus system was a little hard to understand at first. I recommend using the BART system when going to Alcatraz or Fishermans Wharf. Make sure you get a transportation map on day of one of your visit! Overall we had a great time. The view from the rooftop of this apartment is beautiful day and night...a must for all visitors! I would stay here again when we visit SF in the future.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5
