  In town for a girl's weekend getaway (group of 5-6). House was clean and a good size for our group. Situated in a quiet neighborhood that was still perfect for us to be able to walk to many of our destinations. Kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of towels. Washer/dryer and WiFi worked well. The enclosed porch was perfect for us to have our lunch and to relax outside between activities. It all worked out really well for us. Happy with the stay. Would recommend this house to friends and would stay here again.

  This house was great! Perfectly situated for our event at the Palmer Events Center. Close to wonderful restaurants and shops too. Was wonderful that they were able to provide 2 pack and plays for the two babies in the party..meant we didn't have to bring our own. Loved the back screened in porch too! Would definitely stay here again.

  Simply lovely and Sandy could not have been more attentive and flexible. We were a group of 4, visiting Austin from the UK for 2 weeks and lucked out with Kinney House. Everything was clean and easy to keep clean. Coming from London, the space was luxurious! We spent many evenings relaxing on the porch before going out to the local restaurants and events - many were walking distance. Plenty of spare sheets and towels an good cleaning facilities. Was very sad to leave!

  We rented the house for a group of our employees visiting the States from our Chinese office...and they had the most amazing time! Two of the employees sent me little notes about their time at the house: "The house was so sweet? I have stayed there for several days. My friends and I shared the house . We were so happy. I like the kitchen.There was a oven. You can roast beef ,chicken , pork whatever you want! We cooked dinner and had bbq, hot pot together. Feel like real family. Everything was sat down by the house-owner. Soft towel, clean and fragrant bathroom made me relaxed and comfortable. I used to play guitar after every dinner in the back yard. Sometimes, I played with water-jet gun under the sunshine. We were able to see the rainbow while we playing. The house is real worth renting! Cheers!" "I stayed in this house for 10 days in last month, it's AWSOME!!! I love the kitchen, everything what I want is right there, so I can cook a lot of homemade food there, it's a magic place!!! Although I just stayed there for 10 days, I'd rather call it's my home than a place to shelter. Everyone wants a home to adopt his/her lonely heart, to refresh his/her spirits. That's the real sweet home you which you definitely need!!!" Needless to say the house made quite an impact on them. While I never stayed in the house myself, I visited the property and was very impressed. The owner has seamlessly mixed the cute classic "cottage" details of the house with a contemporary interior. The location is ideal, especially for those who are not traveling with a car. I really enjoyed all of my interaction with the property manager. I experienced nothing but 100% professionalism and were treated with utmost kindness. We will definitely rent this house again should we have the need...and I will recommend it to all of my friends visiting Austin!

  We were five guys in their 40's taking a football trip to Austin for the weekend. The house was perfect for our purposes, except that the 6'4" guy ended up on the futon in the garage apartment. The house itself is furnished just right in the living spaces. It's a great home for 3-5 adults (depending on couples) While the house is quite nice, your are surely paying for location. It's close to several great restaurants, and a pretty quick hop into downtown or the university. It all worked well for us.
