  Our family loved this unit and had a wonderful experience. It is the perfect unit for a large family get-together, or to be shared by friends. It is just a hop, skip and a jump to one of the most beautiful, white sand beaches in the world. The pool, though small, is perfect for kids and will keep them occupied when they need a change from the beach. The unit is as advertised, spacious and can easily accommodate the numbers described. It is in excellent condition, and the amenities were as expected. We were especially fond of the 'crow's nest', the balcony on the very top of the unit. The view from there is amazing...from spotting dolphins to watching the sunset over the gulf. Also, we loved that the surrounding area was residential in nature (not over-commercialized), but still in close enough proximity to nearby attractions making access convenient. Give it a try...you'll want to return again and again!

  The name of this home is Peace and Dreams, and these are exactly what you will find if you stay here. The house was simply beautiful and immaculately-kept. Every convenience one would desire can be found here. The views are ridiculously amazing- the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf are visible from multiple rooms in the house. We spent a great deal of time on the outdoor balcony listening to the intoxicating sound of the waves. The nighttime views from the fourth-floor room with balcony are incredible, as well. So close to the beach, great for those with kids because you are just steps away. If the kids get bored with the beach, there is a great, heated splash pool for them to play in. This was by far the most relaxing vacation our family has had in a long time. It was so nice not to have to worry about anything- everything was there that we needed. All we had to do was enjoy it. You cannot lose with this property, it is truly amazing.

  Our family had a wonderful stay at this home. I loved that it had a fenced yard for the kids to play and we were only steps from the beach, no packing up the car to head to the beach! The home was well kept and had plenty of room. There were only 2 sofas but the kitchen table has seating for eight and all we had to do was turn the chairs to face the living room. As for the other issues stated in the last review, we did not see any of those issues. There were clocks in most of the bedrooms and there must have been a new knief block as we did not have anything taped together. We also had several utensils for the BBQ, and there were several dishtowels next to the sink when we got there. There was also a colondar in the kitchen cabinet. Our children enjoyed playing in the outdoor shower and taking a dip in pool. They also got to play on the side street of the house as well. The views were spectacular and we saw dolphins several times from the porches. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys so we did not have to purchase our own which was nice. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to relax that wants to enjoy the beach at their feet.

  First off, the pictures need to be updated...the home is directly on 30A which we could not detect from the pictures onsite. The pictures of the living room were deceiving; the furniture had been rearranged to make it look like more seating when in reality there is only 2 sofas and 1 side chair not enough for 18 people....when we were all together in the living room several needed to sit on the floor. When we first arrived we noticed the yard had not been tended to at all, the grass was in need of mowing. The BBQ grill was not there, but brought to us later in the week. The Refrigerator went on the fritz on the 2nd day with over $200 of our food in it, wthe air conditioning on the 1st floor did not work correctly either from the start...all of this was reported to the Weekend Emergency # and to a worker named Mark, that I met at the Grocery by coincidence....but we had to keep calling over and over, I think there were 21 calls made..finally on Monday some one answered us, said the expenses needed to be approved by the owner and finally by 5pm the repairs were done...2 full days later...our days of having fun in the sun were changed to staying in and waiting for you to respond. Now, things are fixed and hopefully the next renter will have a better start to their vacation... Now, as for amenities.... There are no clocks in the house other than the one on the stove...it would be nice to have one in each bedroom esp with a home of 4 floors of living space. The scissors and several knives were broken and taped back together and put into the knife block...very dangerous When the BBQ arrived we found there weren’t any metal utensils to use with the BBQ. There weren’t any dishtowels to use, no salt pepper or sugar...colander would also be helpful Another refrigerator would be helpful...when you have 18 people and only 1 refrigerator...it is not sufficient More seating in the living room..it certainly can use more chairs The garage needs to be made accessible..we had 4 cars and barely enough room to park. There should be beach chairs and toys for the renters to use...most homes do have these and, maybe more games for renters to use..the games in the closet were for younger children Another helpful idea that I have seen in other rentals.... would be to have a folder of local restaurants, shopping, charter fishing, parasailing, etc and things to see and do while in Santa Rosa Beach..

  Owner response: Please note: This home had been in foreclosure for several months prior to purchasing the home. The house is beautiful and is located just steps from the beach and it is close to 30-A just like all homes on 30-A that have good gulf views. I would like to take this opportunity to express my apologies to the first guest ever to stay at this home. The refrigerator is not old and I would never have anticipated it going out. The AC was repaired and all is in good order now. We have purchased several things including pictures and new outdoor furniture for our guests. The gas grill is obviously at the home now and we have utensils for the grill as well. We have purchased several sets of glassware as well as pots and pans including cookie sheets etc. I understand that this guest was upset as I would have been equally. However, she was our first guest in a home that had been neglected for several months and I appreciate her patience and willingness to understand, because of her I can assure everyone that the home is adequately furnished and equipped. She was compensated for her troubles and I know now that the house is in perfect shape for our next guest. As for the 21 calls and lack of communication, these items were handled as quickly as possible. Working with AC repairs companies and small appliance repair men on a weekend is sometimes bothersome. Going forward we shouldn’t have any problems like these. We are available 24/7 and always make sure you are our first priority! Thank You
