Sunrise Beach house description
What a great location! We are a quick five minute drive from Laurie and located on the 39 mm on the lake. Laurie provides you with a variety of choices for restaurants along with two grocery stores. Our lake house provides great options for both single families and is perfect for multiple family weekend get togethers. We have two docks and both come with boat slips and lifts. We also have waverunner lifts that can accommodate two waverunners. Enjoy both docks sun decks all season and need not fear the wakes from cruisers in our well protected no-wake cove. Bear Bottom's, Captain Ron's, Fish Company, and Big Dick's Halfway Inn are a 5-20 minute boat ride away. We are located in a no-wake cove, just off a bigger cove that is perfect for tubing and skiing with the kids.

Great place, we would rent again
Great place, we would rent again
We had a great time during our rental. The house was very clean, comfortable and well furnished. It was exactly as advertised. House and boat docks were in great shape and the boat lifts worked great. We wouldn't hesitate to rent the home again on our next trip. The only issue we had also ended up being one of the primary reasons I would rent again. On the first day of our stay we encountered some yellow jackets that had made a home for their hive under one of the steps leading down to the dock. After they chased us up the hill, I called the owner (about 6:00pm) to let him know about it. He called around to several exterminators and had one out at 8:30am the next morning. We were not upset that they had made a hive there because that can easily happen anytime you are close to nature, but the quick and attentive response from the owner was what really impressed us. It is very reassuring to know that if there is a problem the owner will try to address it if at all possible. We had four adults in our party. As can be seen in the pictures, the home is on a hill going down to the boat docks. While we didn't have any problems going up and down the steps, I would be a little more hesitant if we had several young kids in our group. It wouldn't necessarily exclude this home but still something I would want to keep in mind. As I had said, we would definitely rent the house again on our next trip. It is clean, well furnished and very comfortable. Plus the owner was quick to address our one issue and truly seemed concerned that we enjoyed our stay. It nice to know if you have a problem you aren't going to get the "you are on you own" type of response. What else can you really ask for? THANKS!!!

We were very much satisfied with our choice. We found it clean & well maintained. We especially enjoyed the quiet cove and the location on that part of the Lake. Sincerely hope it is available next year.

About the owner: We are a family of 9 adults and 8 kids who love spending time at the lake - swimming, boating, fishing, tubing, and just enjoying each other's company.
Why the Owner Chose Sunrise Beach:
Our kids absolutely adore going to the lake. They spend hours swimming in the quiet cove during the day and taking 'nature walks' picking flowers and catching fireflies at night.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love the location; just 5 minutes from Laurie and a nice, quiet cove with great docks for swimming and lounging. We have also put new electrical on both docks(2012)!
