We had no problems checking in at all. The building and the unit itself was very accomodating and beautiful. Perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle of Daytona Beach but within an hour of St. Augustine and Cocoa Beach. The view of the beach are breathtaking! We spent alot of time just sitting on the 9th floor balcony just enjoying the breezes and the ocean. Will definitely come back again! Thank you for your hospitality!Did you find this review helpful? The building, pool, and location were wonderful and everything I expected. The condo itself was a little old but nice. The owner and building manager, however, was another story. We were told when we got to the condo it would be unlocked, keys and garage opener on the counter. We arrive and the condo door was locked. I called the building manager, as it was Saturday when we arrived and they were "closed". She was no help and down right rude. She said she was not notified we would be staying at the condo and refused to come let us in. It took me about 4 hours to get in touch with the owner. I called the owner at least 15 times and left several messages. We were looking for other places to stay when I finally got in touch with her. She had a friend that lived close by, let us in . He was super nice and helpful. If it weren't for him, we would have stayed somewhere else. All in all, The place was nice and a good price. Just make sure you have everything lined up before you drive 9 hrs to get there.Recommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: Yes, renter is right. The door was locked which was a nightmare for her and we felt terrible. We gave her $150 off the rent to make up for her inconvenience. We immediately put into a place provisions so this would never happen again to a renter. We are a working family and we understand the importance of having a relaxing and peaceful vacation.
