Overall, we were pleased with the unit and would rent again. It was bright and spacious and although it does not overlook the beach OR garden, there are palm trees right in line with the windows that obscure the view of the parking area below. The grounds were kept quite clean and the tower is literally steps to the beach. Plenty of beach chairs as well. There were however a few issues that should be addressed as they would improve the quality of a guests' stay. There's nothing special or above average about the unit or it's amenities. It's tired, quite plain and in need of some TLC. "Functional" would be the best way to describe it. The cleaning supplies consisted of a bottle of glass cleaner, a used dish scrubber and a tiny bottle of dish soap. There was also a broom and a vacuum. The bare minimum. Guests should be provided with some basic cleaning supplies to keep their surroundings clean during their stay (tile cleaner, scouring pads, etc). The floor was in fact, quite dirty when we arrived. However; Steve arranged for a wet swifter to be dropped off which made a huge difference. There were no BBQ utensils (Flipper, tongs, BBQ lighter). Rather irritating as we BBQ'ed four times. Had to purchase our own - which we took home with us. Coffee cups and wine glasses were tiny - and I mean tiny! The coffee cups might hold 6 ounces liquid. Not a big issue, but when you're on vacation ... No spices, cooking oil or vinegar. We realize the unit is billed as "self service", but having to purchase all these items quickly adds up. At the very least, salt, pepper a few spices and some oil/vinegar could be provided. Cost at a dollar store - a few bucks. Again - we bought our own. There were no instructions on how to operate any of the electronics in the unit. Spent an unnecessary amount of time trying to figure them out. There was also no stereo in the unit! We found this quite disappointing and had to stream music from our laptop. A very basic stereo unit can be purchased for $100.00 or less. The sheets on both beds were clean, but we didn't feel at ease using the comforters or the pillows that were covered with the same fabric. Not sure when they were last laundered, but given the stale odour they emitted, I would bet it was quite some time ago. As noted; overall the unit delivered ... pretty much as advertised. Addressing these few issues would be very much appreciated, as we would rent it again.

We really liked being right on the beach.

We did think from the website we would have an ocean view and we did not. However, it was a very nice condo, very clean, and the covered parking was nice even though it was tight getting in and out. Christina was awesome to work with! She is super nice!
