This is a ground floor unit with garden view facing the court yard and the swimming pool on the right side of the resort, two-bedroom two-baths, newly remodeled condominium. It is a great vacation pick for a romantic escape - or for a small family, vacation getaway.
The condominium is attractively furnished with a full kitchen, a large living room, a dining area, and a private lanai. An comfortable air mattress can be supplied upon request in advance and based on availability. Amenities include central air conditioning and three TVs (one in each bedroom and one in the living room with a DVD/VCR player). A collection of some popular DVD/VCR tapes are provided, along with books and a game box with well liked games. Local phone calls are free. This is a NON-smoking condominium.
Kaanapali Shores is a beachfront resort. Guests experience a light and airy 1.5 story Lobby with several greeting areas to sit and relax. Comfortable Hawaiian decor and floral arrangements make the ambience inviting.
The resort is located on miles of golden sand beach that is warmed by the Hawaiian sun and bordered by the blue Pacific. This is one of Maui's best beaches; and it is right outside your door.
Resort amenities include a Poolside Restaurant with inside and outside seating, a health club, beauty salon, outdoor massage, convenience and Hawaiian gift shops, a floral shop, game room, a fitness center, an ATM, and many other resources. Concierge service is also available.
There are a variety of activities for the entire family. Spectacular sunsets create an ideal setting for celebrating a honeymoon, an anniversary, or a special occasion. On-site weddings can be arranged.
A Shopping Center can be found directly across the street. In the center are restaurant/eateries, a coffeehouse, full grocery store, and misc. stores and shops.
Whale watching season runs from December thru March. From the Kaanapali Shores beach looking northwest toward the Island of Molokai across the Pailolo channel, or looking southwest toward the island of Lanai across the Auau channel, guests can have a nice view of the Humpback whales during their spawning season.
The owners are Maui residents and available in needed during your stay.

The Maui Invitational Basketball Tournament 2009 in November - Arizona, Louisville, Gonzaga University, University of Wisconsin, Colorado, Maryland, Vanderbilt, and Chaminade. NCAA Basketball on Maui Lodging for the tournament. The PGA Mercedes Classic, just up the road, is in January.

POLICIES:
Check-in time is 4:00PM and Check-out is 11:00AM
** If your departure flight is late or a RED EYE SPECIAL, we
suggest you purchase of your departure night. This may make
your return flight more enjoyable.
** Security Deposit A deposit of $250.00 is due 10 days after
booking to secure the reservation. This is used in the event of
any damage occurring with a guest's visit. It is separate from
the rent.
Refundable Security Deposit will be refunded within 30 days after guests leave, if all is in order after departure (no damage no missing items).
Full Rental Payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Payments can be made by Money Order, Cashier's Check or Personal Check.
C A N C E L L A T I O N S:
An administration fee of $150.00 will be charged for cancellation.
Cancellations If necessary, it is required 60 days or more prior to scheduled arrival date. If cancellations are made less than the 60 days prior to scheduled arrival or after scheduled arrival date, payments will be retained. If the unit can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued less the administration fee of $150.00.
Cancellations due to an exceptional circumstance will not be charged for such as: Tsunami, eartquake, hurricane, airport closure because of a bad weather conditions.
Hawaiian Tax Transient and G.E. taxes of 12.42% must be included with your payment
Parking: To park inside the gated Kaanapali Shores complex, a parking fee of $9.00/day is charged at the Gate. Make arrangements at Front Desk.
We do not provide daily maid service to allow you complete freedom, privacy and secure feeling like a home away from home. The condo is rented on a do-it-yourself basis. The condo will be clean when you arrive and it will be cleaned after you leave. But if you feel you need maid service, we can help with the cleaning person to help you with $75 fee for each cleaning you request.

Why the Owner Chose Kaanapali Shores
Ka'anapali Shores is a front beach resort, the beach is just right on front of the complex and it is just step away from the unit, centraly located to anywhere in West Maui. A corner and ground floor unit is very convenience. West side is considered the Leeward sides and sunny most of he year. They get rain a few months in the winter. Average daily high temperature is in the 80's F everyday of the year.

Dan grew up in New Jersey, graduated from Villanova University, and retired from Hewlett Packard in Santa Rosa, Ca. Sri grew up on the island of Java in Indonesia. We met in Jakarta, where Sri was in the hotel industry. Jasmine is our daughter and is 8 years old, an Honors student, and very good swimmer on the South Maui Sharks swim team. We have lived on Maui since 2004.

Please note, We felt very lucky to have the corner suite, so close to the beach. We would recommend more ice trays and that's it! You had everything we need. Dear Brad and Andrea Goodman and the family, Thank you for staying with us, for the suggestions and to let the A/C Tech guy fixed the A/C while you were there/staying in the unit. They changed the kids camp rules, they were open to all the units in the complex. Since Aston Resort paid for the liability insurance (The insurance that covered if something happen with kids while they are there), kids camp is available for Aston Resort guests only and our unit is rental directly by us the owner (out of Aston Resort Rental Program). Sorry for the inconvenience you and the family had. we did not put Kids Camp facility in our website anymore because we are not part of Aston Resort Rental Program, so Kids Camp is not available for our guests in our unit.

Suzanne & I wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay at your condo. It was perfect for our needs. Our stay in Maui was great. We had done so much running in Kaui, that by the time we got to Maui, all we really wanted to do was hang out on the beah. We did some snuba diving at Molokini and road bikes down Haleakala. I played a round at The Plantation Course at Kapalua, too. Other then that, we spent a lot of time on the beach, enjoying the R & R & watching the sunset. We will recommend your place to our friends.
