  From the sunrise over the sea to the sunset over the mountains, this place is a whole lot of heaven in between. El Rincon has to be seen to be believed. The amenities are 5 Star +. The property and its staff pamper its visitors. You will not be disappointed. The entire property is designed for relaxation and enjoyment with family and friends. The local excursions are a treat, including swimming with sea lions, hiking the mountain side and ATV trips along the beach. Take a trip you will never forget!

  The care and detail that the owners put into this beautiful home shows - it is incredible! And the fact that it was designed to be eco-friendly and sustainable makes it that much more unique. This is THE perfect place for a family getaway, reunion, retreat or all of the above! Very difficult to find this kind of luxury at this price - I know because we looked. The owners could not be more helpful - you feel like you are an extended part of the family. Everything in the description is actually true, which is sometimes difficult to find on VRBO - if you are considering it, my advise is GO FOR IT. I cannot recommend this place enough. i am already planning my return.

  From the moment we arrived, until our departure 2 weeks later, each and every moment was so idealic and special. The peace and quiet,except for the wonderful sounds of nature, launched you into a completely different mood. Swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub, were always welcome activities following a beach walk or an ATV adventure up into the mountains, The friendly, caring staff and the cleanliness of the hacienda were more than a 5 star hotel!! There were adventures we saved for the next time! No holiday here would be complete without a sojourn over to "Nancy's" bar and if you're lucky you might even chat with Nancy herself, an incredibly interesting owner. Here you can order a great margarita, complete with Nancy's homemade tortilla chips and guacamole. I guarantee this isn't a bar like you have experienced before! (I debated investigating if Nancy required any more help, so I'd have an excuse to delay ....for several months....boarding the plane to return to Montreal!!) This truly was a vacation like no other for us.

  Was here with several of my buddies from college and it was absolutely amazing. I liken it to an all inclusive resort with just about everything you'd want to do on vacation. Clean, safe, and close to hiking. We went ATV'ing the on beach, deep sea sail fishing, dolphin watching, snorkling, night time campfires, infinity pool swimming, swim up bar drinking, jet skiing, and best of all, it was very private. I would recommend it to any of my friends and family.

  Has been a little while since we went, but girlfriend (now wife) and I went with 15+ other people and had an AMAZING time. Property is on the beach and easily sleeps 15-20 people without feeling crowded. Lots of outdoor activities to do there and nearby....hiking, swiming, surfing, boating, fishing, etc. We caught a huge marlin and the chef made several declicous dishes with it that fed everyone. Highly would recommend this for a group of friends or a large extended family trip. The facilities are amazing and location is a perfect getaway to stay active or be lazy.

  I have had the privilege of spending two incredible weeks at El Rincon Del Sol - once before I had kids and the second time when my first daughter was just shy of two years old. Both times were amazing. It was a rare opportunity to be away from it all - except for the loved ones we wanted to see! Amazing golf courses and restaurants were a short ride away but everything I could possibly want was right there: delicious meals prepared by the staff, cocktails at the pool bar, a huge jacuzzi, tennis, ATV's, boat rides, fishing, bon fires, gorgeous ocean views at all times. We did venture into town for one night at a great restaurant, and one daytime round of golf and lunch, but we are still not sure it was worth it to leave our private paradise. Everyone else in my group saw jumping manta rays on more than one occasion, so I need to go back to get my sightings! I will never forget the feeling of relaxation and quiet, and close friends and laughs. Thank you!!

  We had a fabulous time at Casa El Rincon Del Sol. We were with our 18month old and it was the perfect house for young children. While many people in our group enjoyed the activities that the area has to offer (scuba, snorkeling, hiking, fishing, ATVing), I spent a glorious 6 days lounging around the house with our son. There is a lot of space for children to run around, toys, a play structure, access to the beach, and best of all, a pool with a large shallow end. There was no need to go anywhere, the house was perfect, and with a young kid, that is a vacation!

  My family stayed here in November and this place is true paradise. The house is right on the beach, the beach is absolutely beautiful, the water is clear and warm, the area is quiet and private. The house is huge and beautiful, and the service is fantastic. It was a true trip to paradise. Plenty to do if you want to, and a great place to relax if that's what you're looking for.

  This house is amazing. It is on a private compound on the Gulf of California with a beautiful long sandy beach that is pretty much private. I had an amazing aquatic experience while Jet Skiing there where we looked down into the water and saw hundreds of small rays swimming 5 feet under the water in a diamond shaped formation up the coast. The Gulf is teaming with marine wildlife so you could see all sorts of cool fish if you dive or even if you just sit on the beach and let the whales swim and jump by. Fishing and hiking around the house is also fantastic. The house has great architecture and is very family friendly. I can't highly recommend this place enough. The Owner is also a friendly awesome person who would ensure a great stay.

  Eileen, we all just wanted to thank you so much for allowing us to share your beautiful home with us. We had one segment of our family reunion at Casa El Rincon del Sol and without exception everyone of us throughly enjoyed our stay. Your home is magnificent, sitting right on the Sea of Cortez, with magnificent ocean and mountain views. All amenities were as advertised and your staff accomodating. The miles of beautiful white sand beach are incredible and just begs for rest and relaxation. We will return again. Thanks again for sharing Bruce Galien and the Childress cousins.
