The living room is designed for relaxation, with a long padded couch (just right for that afternoon siesta!) and easy chair surrounding an HDTV with DVD player. A long window fills the room with light, and a floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door leads to our lanai with views in two directions. Located at the corner of the second floor, Ocean Village Club A26 offers you front-row seating for the sunrise!
The lanai brings the outdoors in, with floor-to-ceiling screened-in comfort and waist-high safety railing. Our Club House offers free wifi Internet, too, so bring your laptop or phone and send greetings to the gang back home as you watch seabirds whirl by in the salty air! Or perhaps this is the spot you choose for that first cup of coffee in the morning, when the rest of the family is still sleeping and time is your own.
Just beyond the living room is the dining table, flanked by long mirrors and comfortable chairs that encourage you to gather around for a lively game of dominoes or a special meal. And that meal is easy to make in our efficient kitchen, with all the appliances at gadgets you need right at hand, plus a full complement of cookware and dishes. When it's time to sleep, the bedroom offers a luxurious king-sized bed, reading chair, TV, and two large windows. There is also a sofa sleeper for 2 in the living room. And the bathroom includes both shower and tub, plus a stacked washer and dryer to keep those swimsuits fluffy and towels warm. The unit was very well equipped with towels, dishes, etc. There were a few spots on the carpet that needed to be cleaned. When we got to the property they were painting the exterior of the building where we stayed and the outdoor furniture was inside and the windows were all tape up we could not use our balcony until the last day. We love St Augustine and its our favorite<br/>vacation spot in Florida. We have stay at<br/>Ocean Village Club three times in the last eight years. The access to the beach, the cleanliness of the condo area and security is the main reason we return. The condo was very clean and well furnished but the carpet could have used a cleaning, there was several spots on the carpet that were very noticable. We are also only a 1 1/2 hour drive to Orlando and Disney World/Universal/Sea World as well as 1 1/2 hour to the Kennedy Space Center. Our rental is also a short car ride to Ponte Vedra Beach and PGA golf Course and TPC as well as Jacksonville with the brand new St John's Town Center (with a Costco), Avenue Mall and River Front Arcade. There is also a minor league baseball team and a professional football team and stadium.
