Relax on the lawn overlooking the water as the family enjoys swimming, kayaking, or sailing right in front of the house! Dinner is served from the grill on the deck, away from the bay breeze. A short walk to the village for an ice cream cone, fresh veggies from the Farm Stand or homemade chocolates from the Candy Man add to the quaint feel of the Hamlet. After you view the most magnificent sunset across the water, you and your family can settle into the family room or living room at opposite sides of the home for a movie, game or recap of your day. This home is cozy and updated with all of the conveniences you need for your summer vacation.
The master bedroom features a king sized bed, private bathroom with shower and walk in closet. Two additional, cozy bedrooms each have twin beds with a full bathroom in between them. There is a lovely family room with queen sleeper sofa that can be closed off for privacy. A spcacious living room has a queen sleeper sofa as well. All living rooms (including kitchen and dining room) have large windows facing the waterfront to enjoy the view even while in the home. An expansive lawn in front of the home provides room for lawn games, lots of lounge chairs, and fun. The property is professionally lanscaped and maintained with a sprinkler system on a timer. A huge, unfinished basement provides lots of room for you to store your bikes, kayaks, canoes and more.

Why the Owner Chose Orient:
This home has been in our family since it was built in 1978. This will be the first summer it is being rented. We love the quaint feel of the North Fork with the easy accessibility of nearby Greenport and Southold. The New London Ferry makes it an easy commute from New England.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The location alone makes this home an unbeatable place for a summer vacation. Although not huge, the layout provides plenty of space for various friends and family to stay. You can read a book in an adirondack chair on the lawn, or walk down the stairs into the beach. The water slopes gradually - so it is safe for children. We have enjoyed many large family get togethers as well as quiet weekends alone, reading, swimming, shopping and relaxing. The house is comfortably appointed but not extravagent - you can vacation here, be very comfortable, but not be bogged down in upkeep.
