I had a great time staying here last summer. The waterfront is charming, the arts and crafts inspired deck is gorgeous, and daily soaking in the hot tub was luxurious. There's no better place to relax and unwind!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Incredible deck right on the water to relish those wonderful sunsets. What a view! Inside amenities are quite comfortable, with ample space in the kitchen, cozy family room and 2 bedrooms. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. And the location is excellent, close to dining, shops, beach, grocery stores and much more. I would definitely recommend this immaculate and charming home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

I stayed at this awesome duplex in May. I had a quiet and relaxing weekend. The view of the bay is fabulous. I kayaked from the beach around the harbor. The house is just great. I especially loved sitting on the spacious deck.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We primarily live in NYC where we are a professor and doctor. We come out to New Suffolk on the weekends and enjoy the local community, farmstands, restaurants, and many fantastic North Fork summer events. Most of the time we sit with a book or good conversation on the deck (when home is not being rented) and zone out on the unobstructed water views.
Why the Owner Chose New Suffolk:
New Suffolk is the most charming hamlet on the North Fork. It is a community tucked away from much traffic and is quite and relaxing. It seems like a secret hide-away.
The Unique Benefits at this Chateau / Country House:
In the evening, with a clear sky, there is nothing like sitting on the deck in mid summer looking up at all the stars and having the moonlight reflecting across the bay with the cozy fire pit lit to ward off evening chill. This is when you can pop open the North Fork bottle of wine.
