This dream condo has an ocean view and is only 20 steps to the deluxe pool(photo on left). In addition, there is awesome diving right off the shore, with a 5 minute swim to the Cayman Wall, and reef rated best in the world by Scuba magazine! Divers rave about our shore diving, and tanks are available on-site. The snorkelling is equally good: you may see turtles, rays, parrot fish, flounders, and much more.
There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a queen and two twins in bright Caribbean colors. The condo is new, clean, beautiful, and large. Walk right out the glass door to the pool and ocean, and park near the other door for easy in and out.
This specially selected vacation condo is close to Grand Cayman's most popular attractions including the expanded Turtle Farm, the Cracked Conch Restaurant, Tortuga Rum Cake Factory Shop, Stingray City, and world-famous Seven Mile Beach. Great snorkeling and DIVING RIGHT OFF SHORE. This quiet location has something for everyone.
Check e-mail and surf the web with high-speed internet access in condo. Free long-distance calls to North America and the UK. If you have to check at work -- we have the perfect set up.
Pool is directly behind the condo and overlooking the ocean. Situated on an uncrowded quiet area of the island which is close to everything. Sandy area allows for sunbathing and the coral shore has ladder with quick deep-water shore dive access.
A pristine mini-wall is right there; the "Big Wall" is a five minute swim from shore - it doesn't get any better than this. Complete dive facilities are on-property, ... and a patio designed to hang dive gear.
Great for divers and non-diving partners! Lounge in a chaise at the pool and the kids can be in the pool right out your living room while you can be preparing a Pina Colada in the kitchen bar!
High-speed Wireless Computer Access lets you keep in touch with the office or family back home. Your children may find friends from many other countries in our complex! This is a small family complex.

We stayed at this condo for a week in May 2013. With the two bedrooms and two baths, the outdoor pool and patio area and large kitchen, it was plenty of room for us, our one-year old daughter and her nanny. The owner was incredibly responsive and pleasant to work with. You will need to rent a car since although the condo is located close to pretty much everything you will want to do on the island, it isn't walking distance to most of it. We rented a car from Budget and that is the one thing I would definitely advise against - it was a real hunk of junk. The tile floors in the condo are a bit slick if there is water on them . . . so just be sure to dry off well before coming inside from the pool. We had a great stay and fabulous time and next time we return will be diving the reef just off shore from where the condo is located . . . we heard from several people that it is the best shore diving on the island.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks for staying with us! You'll certainly have to come back and do the shore dive, island residents come from all over to use our ladder. Some of our owner friends at Coconut Bay stayed at our place, and wound up buying a unit because the shore dive was so good. Come again soon.

We very much enjoyed visiting the island of Grand Cayman. It was our 1st visit. This property was really not accurately represented by the pictures. They made it look very bright and open, when in actuality the apartment is fairly dark inside even near the sliding glass door. The furniture was well represented and the condo was very clean. Everything in kitchen worked well. We had serious issues with the air conditioning, which worked well, but gave off a very bad mildew smell. Another problem was that the mattresses were super hard. Since it was our first trip to the island, we didn't realize that the only beaches were going to be reached by driving. There is a small patch of manmade sand beach at the bottom of this property, but it is above a rocky cliff so you can't touch the ocean from it except for going down a ladder on the rocks. When the waves are high even this is a problem. If you are able to enter the water with scuba gear from the ladder, the diving is excellent from here. There is a nice outdoor bar & restaurant around the corner called the Cracked Conch which we recommend. The upstairs restaurant there is also good, but very pricey and more gourmet. Snorkling from the beach is excellent on the public beach called seven mile beach @ the area called Cemetery Beach. This is about a 15 minute drive south from this condo. If you don't mind driving to the beach this area would be OK to choose, but the neighborhood north of this condo is a bit sketchy especially at night. I think if we went to this island again we would try to stay on seven mile beach. The prices would be a lot higher than on this property though.Did you find this review helpful? We had a fantastic time. The condo was beautiful and well equipped, the pool was close and Inviting, and the diving was spectacular. It was a bit too windy to shore dive most days, but we simply went a few miles down the road to where the water was smooth as ice. Don't miss cemetery beach for some great snorkeling.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Glad your stay was nice. Come back soon!

Directions to property were good. We found the property to be as advertised, very clean. The conch restaurant wa very good. Sting ray city was more fun than the last time! The wind from Sandy messed up our shore diving. The dive on the kittiwake was very good. Everyone enjoyed the stay, went by much to quickly as always. If you are a diver i would recommend it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

just spent another great week at the condo in CocoanutnBay. We went to dive and the water and weather were perfect. we really enjoyed coming home to the warm pool which we had to ourselves all week. This condo is a great location for shore diving and it is close to Georgetown, seven mile beach and other attractions. We would recommend it for couples or families.Did you find this review helpful? we stayed at the condo the week of 03/04/12. the condo was sss, spotless , spacious and has a spectacular view. the location was ideal. it was quite a contrast from the first condo we stayed at for the first week. we are not divers but we snorkeled a few times. we loved sitting down at the beach watching the sunset. at times we didn't see another person but the landscaper who was always working! the landscaping was beautiful. we didn't rent a car but we always used the bus to go to seven mile beach. the bus system was great. we met many caymanians and i was impressed by their gentility. the weather was perfect. i would definitely recommend this condo. paulineRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway.

This is our 2nd stay at this condo and we had a wonderful stay! The location is so great and it is a wonderful retreat. My husband, our 16 yr old son and I all love this condo and will stay here again. The snorkeling out front was amazing. The location is close to all of the activities but very quiet and remote. The owners are so very kind and a pleasure to deal with. You very much feel like a guest sharing a home. Thank you.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is our second trip to this rental and we're already planning our third. The location can't be beat for diving right out your back door. You can dive on the mini wall to 65-70 ft, or go a little further out to the big wall as deep as you can handle. The Cracked Conch and associated outdoor bar (Macabuca) are walking (or diving) distance, and they have a scuba shop, tank rentals, and place to rinse and hang your gear. It's a short drive to additional shore diving, or you can get a boat dive in with an operation that lives in the condo across from this one! Diving aside, the West Bay area is away from the craziness of seven-mile beach, but a short enough drive that you can get there in 5 minutes if you desire. It's also a short drive to Georgetown if you need to get shopping in. I can't wait to get back...Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Grand Cayman has a lot to offer and some people prefer the high level of activity on Seven Mile Beach. However, we couildn't have been happier with our choice of this very comfortable, clean, well located condo just beyond the Turtle Farm on the northwest coast. The area has a very native island feel and the water is mere steps away. (Plan to enjoy sunsets on the secluded beach). The unit itself is well-designed and can easily accomodate 4 adults or families of 4. Restaurant food is very expensive on the island and being able to have some meals at the condo is a great option. You are a short walk from Macabuca, a charming waterfront pub/deck that the locals frequent. For scuba divers and snorklers, the superbly friendly owners of Cayman Dive Shuttle live right across the parking lot and will show you the best of the world offshore. Sitting by the back door of the condo, you can watch a sporadic parade of chickens, cats, iguanas and little dogs- all of whom act like they own the place. They are hilarious. You are also 15 minutes by car from all the hotels and action on Seven Mile beach, but you will feel like you are staying in the Cayman counytryside. We couldn't have enjoyed it more.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner info

About the owner: Our family lives in the Washington DC area, where John manages two healthcare associations, Pat works in the home mortgage industry, and Preston attends Georgetown Law School. We love Grand Cayman: the friendly, honest people, the blend of traditional Caribbean and English culture, the calm clear water, and of course the beautiful weather.
Why the Owner Chose Seven Mile Beach:
After visiting Grand Cayman for over 10 years, we realized we needed to own "a piece of the rock". For us, Grand Cayman is about relaxation, and our condo is in a very small waterfront complex almost exclusively occupied by full-time residents, in quiet, beautiful West Bay. The neighbors are great, when we're down we join them in pool side barbeques, and our guests are invited, too!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Seven mile beach is close, but our waterfront complex has very little tourist traffic, and most days you can have the pool to yourself. Divers love the fact that you can swim to the reef, voted best in the world by Scuba magazine, and non-divers love the quiet, relaxing ambience. When you stand at the shore, there is nothing but beautiful ocean: no jet skies, no boats, no nothing.
