Sea Grape is a beautiful 2-bedroom cottage perched on the cliffs over the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean in Negril, Jamaica. It is located on a private 1-acre property with lush tropical gardens and only two other units, creating Sea Grape’s privacy and making it a true hidden treasure on Negril’s West End.
Sea Grape was originally built in the 1970’s when Negril was only a small fishing village. Bob Marley stayed here in 1976. Since then, Sea Grape has been lovingly maintained, keeping its quintessential island charm while adding modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, cable television, and an i-Pod ready stereo system. Most recently, Sea Grape underwent a renovation that added a stylish new master suite.
The layout of the cottage consists of a large open-plan living area and kitchen with a king-sized bed for lounging and/or sleeping. Additionally, there are two smaller double bedrooms at each end of the cottage and the newly renovated bath. Sea Grape also boasts a hot-water outdoor shower, as well as a stone outdoor shower by the sea area for rinsing off after a swim.
Sea Grape is ideally located footsteps from the Caribbean Sea. Guests walk down a short path to a sunning platform where a ladder leads you in and out of deep turquoise water. These beautiful clear waters are ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
With regard to service, Sea Grape Villa offers daily maid service, morning coffee and toast service, and the option of having additional meals prepared and served by our wonderful onsite cook, Juicy. These delicious meals are served to you on your veranda overlooking the sea. Our staff will try their best to assist with any other requests.
Life is easy at Sea Grape—you never need to leave your secluded island paradise. Swim and snorkel in crystal clear turquoise waters and soak up the sun on your private piece of the Caribbean by day. After a spectacular sunset, dine on one of our on-site chef's delicious Jamaican specialties. Or you can prepare your own meals in Sea Grape’s fully-equipped kitchen. Enjoy the slow pace of island life!
The town of Negril is located on the Western tip of Jamaica, approximately one hour from the Montego Bay Airport. In addition to its spectacular scenery, Negril offers an array of dining options, activities, and nightlife within walking distance of Sea Grape Villa, or within a short taxi ride.
Sea Grape is an ideal island retreat for honeymooners, couples, small groups, or families with children. In addition to Sea Grape Villa, the property contains two other villas, each boasting similar amenities and privacy. Wild Grape (2 bed/2 bath, VRBO # 385780) is larger stylish seafront villa with separate sea access from the other two villas, while Big Grape (3 bed/1 ½ bath, VRBO # 397896) is a spacious house set in the gardens which shares sea access with Sea Grape Villa. My husband, 2 duaghters under the age of 7 and myself enjoyed a relaxing stay at Sea Grape Villas. Our family had some very special family time, with heavenly sunsets, amazing meals in a well maintained and clean accomodations. We did everything from swimming in the ocean, hike by the waterfalls, and enjoying the local flavor....Juicy's delicous jerk chicken. I highly recommend Sea Grape Villas as the ultimate relaxing holiday! Thanks Marc and Lynn for helping us create these memories.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This past December, my boyfriend and I stayed at Sea Grape for just under a week. I had been to Negril numerous times before but had never stayed at Sea Grape. We arrived just as the sun was setting over the clear horizon, and bid adieu to the cloudless day with two dolphins jumping in the middle of our picturesque view. From then on, it was a trip to remember, with plenty of privacy, perfect swimming and delicious home cooked Jamaican fare.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
