Welcome to Seal Cove Carriage House which is located directly across from Crescent Beach and is set in between the beach and The Great Pond, a nature preserve behind the studio.
Relax and enjoy the Japanese garden at the entrance to the Studio. The studio has birch wood floors and is bright and filled with natural light. Enjoy fresh Atlantic Ocean air when opening the french doors on the balcony to enjoy lengthy views of lawns, woods and sea. The kitchen is fully equipped with counter and stools for casual dining and a dining table for more formal dining. The studio offers a Queen size bed and a full bathroom with shower. Linens are provided.
The carriage house studio is within walking or biking distance to Crescent Beach State Park for those who love to swim and be on the beach. The studio is located diagonally across from The Inn By the Sea, a 4 star resort offering fine indoor and outdoor dining. The Inn also offers a menu of tranquil coastal spa treatments.
Adjacent are many miles of Cape Eizabeth Land Trust Trails for those who like to hike in the woods. You can view or canoe the Great Pond, go bird watching as well as see deer, an occasional moose and maybe a fox on your hike.
Discover breathtaking lighthouse views in Cape Elizabeth by visiting Two Lights State Park, The Lobster Shack Resturant and Gift Shop and Portland Head Light and Museum at the Fort Williams Aboretum.
Be sure to shop at the various Cape Elizabeth Farms to buy fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, herbs and Maine lobsters. Visit the Thomas Memorial Library to view art gallery exhibits by local artists. View other interesting sites on the web at Welcome to Cape Elizabeth.
Portland is just 8 miles away where you will find an incredible selection of dining options, lots of great music and live theatre. Better yet, The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is just a bit further north and certainly worth the adventure.
