If space is important, even if just for the two of you, this is your vacation home. No need to pay for a two or three bedroom condo to get room to relax, this spacious one bedroom has the same size living area as two and three bedroom units, along with two full bathrooms. From the fourth floor, the view is spectacular, but you're not so high that you can't hear the ocean. Every vacation day begins and ends with the beauty of blue sky and golden sand and the soothing sound of ocean waves that you will enjoy from comfortable furnishings. Both sofas convert to queen size beds.
Waters Edge is a premium condo resort. There are large indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, exercise facilities, a lounge, restaurant and convenience store, all on the premises. The elevator from the lobby provides excellent handicapped access. When you're ready to feel the soft warm sand between your toes, the Garden City beach is right out from the lobby.
The bedroom has a brand new king size bed, closet and dresser to provide ample storage space, and a private bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, toaster, small appliances, pots and pans. Dishes, glassware and tableware are on hand. Linens are provided, beds will be made, some soap, paper towels and trash bags will be on hand. You will not begin your vacation by making beds or running to the store to get toilet paper!
Garden City is perfect for a family vacation or romantic getaway, away from the traffic and crowds, but still a short drive to attractions. The Garden City Beach pier, restaurants and shops are .7 of a mile south from Waters Edge. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants, bars and shopping are a short drive (or a pleasant, longer walk) north. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. All the attractions, dining and shopping of Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand, and the Myrtle Beach downtown boardwalk are just a bit further north. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden. It's just a few minutes south.

We stayed in this condo two different times last summer. Both times were great. The condo was spacious, well maintained and very clean. There were plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc as well as wireless internet. Everything you need for a great vacation. The condo was on the beach and the view was excellnt. From the patio, you could see for miles in both directions. The location was great, Right in the middle of where we wanted to be. There was also plenty of parking which is very unusual for most condos in the area. They had there own separate parking garage. There was a small gift shop and hamburger place in the bottom of the complex which was very convient to keep from having to go out to get small items. The condo only had one bedroom, but did have two bathrooms and a fold out couch which would be great for kids. I would and have recommended this property to both family and friends. Great place to stay.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

Spacious, well maintained room w/great view & convenience. Having 2 full baths & full kitchen was extremely nice. Booking & owner were excellent to work with & professional. The central location near garden City pier, good eats, fine entertainment were convenient to walk to if need be. Causeway Pizza nearby has various good foods...especially the oysters! The price of the condo on 4th floor & not having to wait on the elevator was pleasant! Of course, a covered parking garage & free washing facility are both pluses. All the amenities made it feel like home with an A+ pool, store, lounge, & restaurant. I will continue to use this same condo rental each time I visit several times a year.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

After spending the months of Feb and Mar in this condo, overall we found it comfortable, just right for two people. The fourth floor view is perfect to view the beach and overlook the ocean. The condo manager was a pleasure to work with and after a month was able to acquire an upgrade on the very old style mattress from a queen to a king that was very comfortable. The carpet was freshly cleaned and the general appearance of the condo when we arrived was exceptional compared to other condos we have stayed at in the past. Although the condo and resort is far from luxurious the value for the money is certainly worth the stay. We plan to return to this condo again next year.Recommended for: Age 55+.
