Winding along a nondescript Laurel Canyon road, you really have no idea of the opulence that awaits. This top of the hill, end of the road luxury estate is pure magic. Enter the iron gates and follow the path to your dream vacation home. It would be impossible not to be impressed by one of the most dramatic views in the Hollywood Hills. Day or night the views are absolutely mesmerizing.
Immediately feel the peace and serenity of this one of a kind property. Enter the wood, glass and wrought iron door, and you will not want to leave. The hallway to the left opens into a great room with living room, kitchen, bar, and dining room underneath a 2 story beamed ceiling. A large flat screen TV and electronics are coupled with comfortable sofas that are perfect to lounge on. Dine on the oversize wooden table for 8 beneath a decorative chandelier. Even open all four double French doors to accentuate the night sky and enjoy the warm California evenings.
The master bedroom features a luxurious sleigh bed, walk in closet and view balcony. Master bath features a custom tile tub and shower, as well as dual copper vintage sinks. Bedroom 2 has an in-suite bathroom with shower and a patio with canyon views. Bedroom 3 is up the winding staircase and has its own bath and shower and also features walk-in closets and a wrap-around rooftop patio with privacy and incredible views.
It has been rumored that the current owner spent over $1 million on the backyard alone. This private estate encompasses the top of the ridgeline and offers gods eye views from the entire property.This is truly a zen like retreat of the highest order. Pool area features outside built-in BBQ and fireplace complete with dual rocking chairs. There are also 2 double lounges, chairs and table, jacuzzi with remote control, extensive use of custom stone work, and an elevated Balinese canopy day bed surrounded by palms overlooking the pool.
There is probably no better example of the California indoor/outdoor lifestyle than this room. Open to the canyon and city below this room has a flat screen TV, stereo, fireplace, large 'L' shaped sofa, and a spacious table for dining al fresco or playing poker with the guys.
Finally follow the path to enlightenment up the stone walkway to the ultimate firepit that makes all others jealous. Congratulations, you are now exactly where you are supposed to be. Breath deep, look into the night sky and enjoy your nirvana moment.

his is a 5 star luxury villa rental. The views are breathtaking and the backyard is spectacular. The actual home was without a doubt the most luxurious we have ever rented. High end appliances, over the top bedding, floor to ceiling windows from every room all of them overlooking Los Angeles... The list goes on and on. But what puts this house over the top is the outdoor space. It is hard to describe. The backyard is 3 tiered. The free form heated pool and jacuzzi area, outdoor covered living and dining rooms with a huge sectional and al fresco dining table, lounge chairs and double chaises, outdoor large screen TV and audio systems, two rooftop terraces off of the bedrooms, and last but not least a huge hilltop space with yet another sectional and enormous firepit....this rivals The Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons. This is a multi-million dollar home with a 10 million dollar view! Also, the property managers Kristian and Joe need a shout out here. They were both personable, attentive, meticulously professional, easy to deal with and very responsive both before and during our stay. A 5 star all around experience!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Best Staycation ever. Hilltop has the same amenities as a hotel, plus others (kitchen, washing machine, and many other appliances). The place is tidy and luxurious.
