San Tan Valley is nestled in the midst of several mountain ranges including Superstition Mountain and San Tan Mountains. One of the most unique dining experiences is just minutes away on the Hunt Highway at San Tan Flats or enjoy a scenic drive along the Historic Apache Trail. Driving north is Sedona, a picturesque city surrounded by red-rock monoliths. and a scenic drive north along the stunning Oak Creek Canyon. Nearer to Phoenix is Saguaro Lake, a long narrow and winding lake created by the construction of Steward Mountain Dam. Activities around the lake include boating, fishing, swimming, and water skiing. Driving south to the southern area of Arizona is Tombstone and the O.K. Corral where you can enjoy museums, tours and gunfights. If you have an interest in aircraft history visit the Pima Air & Space Museum or Titan Missile Museum in Tuscon.
