Midnight Cove II condo description
Enjoy this spacious waterfront 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath ground floor condo in gorgeous Siesta Key, just a short walk to the Midnight Cove II Pool and private Tennis and Basketball Courts, and located right across the street from Siesta Key Beach.
Unwind in the Master Bedroom, which includes a Queen sized bed, large 46” Flat-Screen TV mounted on the wall, ample drawer space as well as a large Walk-In Closet, with private access to the Master Bath, complete with his and hers sinks, walk-in shower with seat, and toilet. With ceiling-length sliding glass doors that offer access to the Lanai, you will wake up feeling refreshed and exhilarated by the beautiful waterfront landscape right outside your windows.
Need more sleeping space? We have a second newly refurnished bedroom containing two twin beds, closet, full length-mirrors, and a large 44” Flat Screen TV mounted on the wall, adjacent to a second full bathroom with shower-tub. There is also a Queen-sized Convertible Couch located in the living room for additional sleeping.
Our condo is fully furnished, from linens and beach chairs to pots and pans. You won’t even need to bring a beach towel! There is a washer and dryer inside the unit, so laundry won’t be a hassle. The kitchen is open and spacious, with a view of the lagoon out of the lanai windows. There is a fridge and freezer for all of your food goods, as well as a sink with a garbage disposal, toaster, coffee pot, microwave, oven, and stovetop. Enjoy your meals at the dining room table, or take them out onto the lanai and enjoy the view. Unwind and watch television or a DVD in the living room on our 32” Flat-Screen TV, or surf the Internet using our WiFi access.
Don’t forget to take one day (at least!) to experience a Siesta Key Sunset. Either walk across the street to our award-winning beach (#1 in America in 2011) or simply take the elevator to the top of the building to watch from the roof; either way we promise you won’t be disappointed for our sunsets are among the finest in the world!
Siesta Key beach has gained its sterling reputation for a reason. As you walk the boardwalk to the beach, you’ll be greeted with sparkling blue waters and pristine white sands that are 99% quartz and will not get hot even in the summer heat. The waters are warm and refreshing and the waves that roll in are just the right size for bodysurfing and tubing, without being too rough.
You’ll find you will have access to an abundance of opportunities for excursions and adventure. Besides private access to a pool, tennis court, basketball court, and beach, you will find bicycling, parasailing, jet skiing, boating, wildlife and sea life tours, and scooter rentals to be all at your fingertips. We are also a short drive to Sarasota Airport, Downtown Sarasota, Van Wezal Performing Arts Theatre, the Ringling Brothers Museum and Mote Marine Aquarium, and many other amusement and entertainment parks are nearby, including Jungle Gardens, Disney World, and Orlando Studios. There are also bars and nightlife hosted in the Siesta Key Village (and even a free taxi service you can call for transportation!) as well as Downtown Sarasota.
For those of you who choose to not rent a car, you will not feel limited, for a market is just a 5-minute walk, as is a variety of restaurants which host indoor and outdoor seating and musical entertainment. There are also bars and a place for karaoke in the same area.
You’ll have an amazing and relaxing vacation—we know first hand! Come and make memories on this amazing island of Siesta Key.

We stayed in Unit 810, it was recently updated and had nice decor. It is a first floor unit which is nice when bringing back beach chairs, coolers, etc,. The condo had everthing we needed, I especially liked having a washer/dryer unit and the kids really liked the huge flat screens in every room. The beach was a short walk away and very close to the pool as well, which was a saltwater pool!! The whole condo complex was very well maintained and seemed very safe. Really liked having a covered carport as well. Enjoyed everything!!

The property was just as described in the photos and description of it. We had everything we needed inside the condo. The walk to the beach wasn't long and crossing the road was easy with the crosswalk button. The complex itself was nice, quiet and clean. There were six of us, four teens and two adults, and we had plenty of room. We spent most of our time on the beach by the condo, but did go down to the public beach too and it's the widest beach I have ever been on. 1.2 miles past the public beach is a huge sand bar and we found some sand dollars in the water. One of the lower beach chairs broke while we were there, but we left two fishing poles in the 2nd bdr closet for future guest use. If you like to cook seafood, I'd recommend going to Walt's Fish Market on Tamiami for some great selections. We had a wonderful vacation and will definitely be back. Thank you!

The unit was very week kept; the owner a pleasure to work with. The pool is a minute walk away and the beach under 5 minutes. Everything promised was delivered.

Very nice conveniently located condo!
Very nice conveniently located condo!
This condo is beautifully furnished and is comfortable for the whole family. The kids were excited they had their own beds and own cable tv for their shows. My husband and I were excited about the double sinks in the bathroom and our own tv in the bedroom. The bedroom had a spacious walk in closet and much cabinet space throughout the unit for storage. No need to have things laying around. The kitchen made me want to cook, instead of dining out. The top of the line appliances were a breeze to operate. The ice maker made it easy to fill our cooler for the beach/pool. The location of this condo on the ground floor was ideal. The walk to the beach was 2 minutes from the parking lot. The kids really like sitting on the dock and watching for manatees and fish in the evening. I would recommend this condo to all my friends and family. It was a very peaceful and comfortable living space which is exactly what our family needed from our fast paced life.

This was my family's first stay at Siesta Key Beach. The condo was just as described in the pictures. Everything that you need, it was there! George and Angelika were great to deal with. Great location, close to beach, town, and The Village.

Year Purchased: 1993
About: My husband and I bought Unit 810 in the Midnight Cove complex back in 1988 when we fell in love with the gorgeous location. Our seven children made many wonderful memories growing up here during their vacation months. My mother bought this unit, 912, in 1993, when she visited ours and realized the beauty and serenity siesta key has to offer. Unit 912 has been passed along through our family. Our four dogs share our love for these condos, and never fail to get excited whenever we start to pack a suitcase. I am a kindergarten teacher and my husband a contractor. We look forward to our Siesta Key vacations throughout the year. Nothing is more relaxing to us than taking the boat out onto the water and cracking open a good book. Whether you're searching for a a laid-back, lazy vacation or one filled with adventure and activities, Siesta Key will welcome you with opportunities all across the board.
Why Midnight Cove II:
We visit on multiple occasions each year, as nothing beats a waterfront condo with an amazing, clean, beautiful beach just a walk across the street. Restaurants and shopping are right at our fingertips, with the Siesta Key Village a short distance down the road, along with a long strip of options right over the bridge to the mainland. Our condo is in a prime Florida location. We are a 20 minute drive to both Sarasota airport and bustling downtown Sarasota (home to the Ringling Brothers' Museum and the Van Wezal theatre). Also nearby is Busch Gardens in Tampa, Bok Tower in Lake Wales, and Fantasy in Flight in Lakeland. We are additionally only 2 hours to Disney World and Sea World. The wildlife and staggering amount of available of activities for entertaining oneself made us certain a property purchase in the area would not be a mistake.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our favorite part of our Siesta Key vacations are the sunsets. The sun sets over the Gulf of Mexico, creating a most breathtaking sight. The colors range across the sky, their reflections bleeding into the water as the golden sun assumes its decent, creating striking photo opportunities. For those of you who choose to not rent a car, you will not feel limited, for a market is just a 5-minute walk, as is a variety of restaurants which host indoor and outdoor seating and musical entertainment. There are also bars and a place for karaoke in the same area. We also boast a wonderful island favorite; a restaurant named Captain Kurt's, famous for it's award-winning clam chowder.
