A spacious family home situated 10 minutes walk from the pretty fishing village of Argegno. Comfortably housing 9 guests. Four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, private garden, balconies and lake/mountain views. The facilities are spotlessly clean, new and modern and ensure style and function. The apartment is fully equipped with all domestic equipment such as washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, wireless internet. If you have any special requests please do not hesitate to ask. Argegno is a characteristic fishing village, where there are local cafes, easy access to boat trips around the lake and excellent restaurants from fine dining "al freso style" to pizzerias and rustic trattorias serving fresh lake fish. In the village we also have a bakery, small supermarket, florist, bank, Post Office and the Best Gelataria (ice cream maker) in the whole area! About the owner: Simon and I are educational consultants, both from Scotland, who have chosen to live in Italy. We met whilst working in Dubai and fell in love!
Why the Owner Chose Argegno:
This is actually our family home. Our work takes us to many countries so we travel frequently throughout the year. This gives us the flexibility to rent our home when we are away.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love Italy! Firstly, the scenery....which is second to none. When we wake up in the morning and open our shutters, we regularly tell each other how lucky we are to be living in such a beautiful place. The Italian way of life suits us very well. We love the fact that supermarkets only sell local produce and are proud of this fact! We enjoy walking in the surrounding areas and cycling around the lake. We have two excellent road bikes which we are very proud of and we are happy to lend these to you if you are keen cyclists. The village itself is a perfect lakeside fishing village. It is so well served by bars and restaurants that we can enjoy friendship on any night of the week during the summer season. Having a baker's shop so close by means that fresh bread and cakes are always a possibility - essential after a day out on the Lake or in the mountains! The boat and ferry service means that we don't always have to take our car. We love using this service as car parking is never an issue! The ferry port is in the village - a mere 10 minutes walk away as is the bus stop. We can access all of the towns and villages on the Lake by boat or ferry.
