7 year old Cape located in the private beach community of Central Beach, Quonochontaug. Rental includes pass to private Central Beach, boat mooring on Quonnie Pond and canoe. Beach is a 5 min. walk or drive your car into the private parking lot. Tennis courts are just a 3 min. walk as is the pond.
The downstairs has an open floor plan with a fieldstone fireplace in the kitchen. Have coffee in the morning on the sun filled back deck then in the evening watch the sunset while having cocktails on the front porch.
After a day at the beach enjoy a shower in the relaxing outside shower.
An excellent variety of restaurants are within a 5 to 20 min drive. Visit lovely Watch Hill or be in Newport in 45 min. Historic Mystic is just a 30 min drive as is the quaint village of Stonnington.
The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of plates and flatware. An outdoor lobster/clam steamer makes clean up a breeze. Dinning area table easily seats 10. Going to sleep at night to the sound of waves crashing on the beach is free of charge.
