  Our family of nine had a wonderful weekend in this house in a lovely, quiet neighborhood located just blocks from the beach and the cliff walk. Everything was quite clean for our arrival. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious. The basement (with a queen bed) really serves as a fifth bedroom. The lovely owners (Jeff and Maureen) were very gracious and too happy to do whatever they could to make our stay comfy. Definitely a good and happy vibe in the house!

  It was a pleasure to meet Maureen at the house after engaging in several communications via email and phone. The pictures do not do the home or area justice. We booked this home for a girls weekend for our group of 10 ladies and there was more than ample room for everyone. The sunroom is where we spent most of our time. There were plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms to accommodate everyone and the kitchen was perfect the one night we stayed in. Unfortunately it rained while we were there so we weren't able to walk around too much but we did take a very quick cab ride to downtown one night. Otherwise, the location is a short walk to the beach and cliff walk. I'm hoping to go back with my husband and children and take Maureen up on her childcare services. It was comforting to know she was next door just in case we needed anything. Thank you Maureen!

  Space (bright with beautiful hardwood floor), location (walking distance to the beach and downtown Newport) and views...this house has it all. Enjoy the great sun room in the spring and summer or a cozy fire in the winter. The landlords are fun and loving people. The pictures don't do it justice! This is the perfect vacation home and you will truly enjoy your stay.

  Honor to be the 1st reviewer. My wife and I were long term renters at this property through all the seasons in Newport. Great location: 10 minute walk to 1st beach and the entrance to Cliff Walk. About a 20-25 minute walk to downtown Newport (lower Thames St). Quiet neighborhood. Ample space in the house for 8-10 people. Bathrooms are in great shape. Full kitchen so you can shop, cook and keep your vacation food budget low. Sun porch was great in the spring, summer, fall. A little chilly in the winter but that is when you make a fire in the living room fire place. Washer/Dryer. Owners are great people and very flexible to your needs. Supermarket is also within walking distance. Never had a problem with traffice on the street and there is ample room for parking a few cars. Great property for a vacation, anytime of the year.

When things slow down, I will put it on You-Tube and maybe that will help. The three season porch is being insulated and the sliders are being replaced with double hung windows. Jeff and I are thinking about putting in a hot tub because we have lots of room and plenty of privacy. You guys will have to come back!
