Our winter vacation home in Tucson, Arizona is located on the Arizona National Golf Course in the gated community of Sabino Springs. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with den home. Included with the stay is access to the community center pool, hot tub and exercise room two blocks from the house. Our house is located right on Hole 6 of the Arizona National Golf Course. You can walk 2 blocks from our house to the golf clubhouse to play on one of the nicest courses in Tucson. If you like hiking, you are only 1.5 miles away from the trail head into Sabino Canyon off of Bear Canyon road. If cycling interests you, you are right at the base of Mt Lemmon and can climb one of the best 100 climbs in the country on a new paved bike lane all the way up to the top of the mountain. If you enjoy bird watching, Agua Caliente Park is about 2 miles away with a bird walk every Thursday morning. Or you could just hang out on the patio and enjoy the great views, which we do when we are not hiking, biking, bird watching or playing golf!
Note that our house has not been child proofed for young children, as there are potential hazards to them ( large Saguaro cactus in backyard is one example)

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
March and April 2012 : Weekly Rental $800 a week Starting November 2012, minimum stay of 4 consecutive weeks $2400 Cleaning fee and tax is included in the price. Personal checks are preferred, but credit card payments can be arranged. $200 refundable damage deposit for all stays due at time of reservation 7 Day cancellation policy: If reservation is cancelled less than 7 days before scheduled arrival date, damage deposit is not refunded. Total rental fee due 7 days before arrival.

Why the Owner Chose Sabino Springs
We have been visiting Tucson for 17 years before deciding that we would like to spend our winters here. Tucson weather in the winter is fantastic for the outdoor activities that we love: cycling, hiking, golf and bird watching.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We especially love Sabino Springs and the location in Tucson of our home. We can walk for about 5 miles all within the community and enjoy the great views from every angle. It also gives us a great starting point for many bicycle rides. Saguaro East National Park is only 7 miles away for great bicycling or hiking. You can't be better positioned for golf, we just walk over to the golf club house for a round of golf and great food as well.

We love our retirement place in the sun, but until we can retire and spend our winters in Tucson, we will rent our place when we are not there (we also do home exchanges as well).
