From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we soaked up the PEI hospitality while staying at this lovely historical farmhouse with a setting from the movies. Our hosts Paula and Laurie were terrific and were so helpful with anything we needed,...including the LOBSTER,..yes,...the HUGE lobster that we cooked ourselves. They own a wonderful restaurant down the road as well which is convenient and has a varied menu. The farmhouse was unique and cozy and gratefully it was pet friendly. It was very clean and had 2 full bathrooms - one on each floor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need and the farmhouse had the conveniences of high speed internet as well as a huge flatscreen TV so I would not miss my Bachelorette. For major grocery shopping the 20 minute or so drive to Montague was lovely with the roadside lupins in full bloom. The short walk down to the oceans' edge where we watched the porpoises frolicking in the water every evening was so much fun as we sipped a glass of wine. It was a very memorable relaxing holiday,..one that we will not soon forget. We most certainly will return and thank you Laurie and Paula so very much for your hospitality, warmth and charm. It was a huge pleasure meeting you ladies and I know we will meet again.
