  great views, what a great getaway place. comfortable beds, the place looks brand new. Great price and the folks renting the unit could not have been easier to deal with. definately coming back. thanks for a perfect week. we needed this. pier park is right across the street. we didnt even need a car. what a perfect little place. nice respite from the cold and snow.

  we have stayed at Calypso several times, but never have we been treated as well or given as nice accomodations as we were on this trip. Deann was awesome to deal with and this unit fit our needs perfectly. just such a cute condo, colorful, without being tacky. the carpet looks new, furniture new, it just felt great. we have already booked to come back later this fall. thanks

  hi Mitch, just wanted to say thanks for sharing your condo with us, we had a wonderful time and everything was beautiful including the weather. A little on the cool side but that was to be expected this time of the year. Had a lot of great food, especially the Salt water grill, it was great. everyone enjoyed the convenience of everything. Hope to go back sometime in the near future with our three daughters and seven grandchildren who are all adults now except one who is now nine years old. Those son-in-laws can tag along too if they wish.-ha ha. Family is great, I've been blessed. Thanks again for making our vacation a great one. God bless and have a great day Ron

  While our vacation in early Sept 2012 was a good one (we love this area and the Calypso-great for families with children), we had a communication issue with this owner's booking agent regarding some confusion over the property we inquired about (a different VBRO number) vs the property we ended up being booked to stay in (which was this unit). I reached out to the owners via a long, detailed letter which was mailed to them on September 24, 2012. This letter included copies of emails and correspondence as proof of what happened, and they never bothered to respond to apologize or make it right. Also, we were there 7 full days and one of the major appliances was broken. I contacted the property manager as soon as we checked in, but the issue was never fixed or replaced during our stay (we were told two different things by the on-site property manager and the booking agent), so we went the entire week without a microwave. Try that for a week with a toddler.... I'm glad others have had good experiences with these owners, but we were pretty rattled by what happened. I'm further just floored by the fact that when we reached out to them respectfully and privately to settle the matter, they didn't bother responding. I guess they hoped if they ignored us, it'd just go away since they've never met us face to face. It's been two months since our stay and we're still very disappointed by what happened. I won't go into further detail here, but truly wish that when we reached out to the owners, they would have extended the courtesy of a response.

  Owner response: Very little of what you say is accurate. You rented the 11th floor 3b 2 bath unit from us. Your confirmations and rental agreement confirm this. when you arrived you wanted to be moved to a much more expensive 3br corner unit that we now own, at almost double the price you had paid. We would have done this, but we were full. At that time we offered you a 100% FULL REFUND, You declined. At that time we then offered you an extra night for free that you took advantage of for the misunderstanding. You then called on several times to complain about assorted and sundry issues about the unit. One of those complaints that we received on Monday was the microwave. We ordered and replaced the microwave as soon as we could, actually, ordered it the same day. We have built a 20 year history of excellent, high quality rental base with thousands of satisfied and happy guests, and we post every review... Yours is the only one in 20 years that was not positive. I honestly dont know what more we could have offered you above and beyond a full refund. However, to refuse that, then stay the week, then stay an extra night for free, then ask for your money back or threaten me with a poor review, will not be tolerated. To say we didnt answer you or respond to you in a timely, sensitive, and kind manner is simply untrue.

  I stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! I really liked being right on the beach and really close to the hub of activity. I will DEFINITELY be back...again and again!!!

  I stayed in this unit this past weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony each morning having my coffee and looking at the ocean. The location and the condo were both excellent. I will come again next year!

  If there is a nicer place on the beach, i havent seen it. this place is awesome. Dolphins near the shore every morning. the water is so clear its amazing. the weather is 78 and sunny the last 3 days of January!!! I am in heaven... Condo is spectacular.. we havent needed or wanted anything extra... The owners are awesome and easy to deal with... If you want an EASY and stress free trip, and deal with great Christian owners who are so friendly and helpful, this is the unit you will want. not having to use the elevator is awesome...just like Rick and Sue said, its just like having your own private beach home... I LOVE THIS PLACE>>> Thanks!

  went with husband for a long weekend in January for our anniversary... just happened upon this unit. i had rented from these guys before and this place was awesome. we had stayed up higher before, but will want to stay in this unit from now on. convenient, clean, new, and just a few steps to the back porch...pier...and beach... this will now be OUR place each time we come back to the beach. thanks...for a wonderful time.

  this condo is amazing. Rick let us stay in this condo the week he bought this. Mitch was so easy to deal with and everyone was so polite, nice and friendly. The condo looks BRAND NEW, they really keep this in perfect condition. the views are awesome. You are high enough up to get a great view, but low enough to be able to see the sand and surf rolling in. We never used the elevator the entire time there, just like having our own beach house. Best unit we have ever stayed at in Calypso...by far! Thanks for an amazing trip.
