The heart of the property is a farmhouse, finely restored in Tuscan style, is a pleasant and welcoming environment that has six en-suite bedrooms. We stayed at Poggio Al Vento June 20, 21, 23. It was beautiful. Every direction you look it seems like a picture post card. The property is accurately depicted in the photos. It was spotless and beautifully decorated. Angela, the owner did everyting she to could to help us. The setting is a quiet rural area and close to the A1 SuperStrada and about 30 minutes from the railroad station. It was convenient to travel both north to Florence and south to Rome. We visited Cortona about 40 minutes and Seina about 45 minutes. Very convenient in the middle of Tuscana. We are anxious to return. Bill BRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
